A Taste For Wine

Been here a couple times now and I love it! The first time I was told they didn't have a menu so I described what wine I like and what I was looking for and they brought out a few wines to taste until I found one I wanted. I sat on the balcony and watched the people down on Central Ave. I ended up having a nice convo with one of the owners until they closed. On my more recent visit they did have a menu, but the wine list didn't seem quite accurate compared to what they actually had in stock. Didn't bother me because, again, they let me sample a couple wines based on my taste and their recommendations and I ended up with another terrific wine. I also ordered the lemon chicken pizza and it was tasty, too. I wish they were open more days, but I'll definitely be visiting again soon. It's a small wine bar that's great if you want to get away from the crowds and just relax and enjoy some good wine while you chat with the staff inside or people watch on the balcony outside.

Wonderful staff, amazing and extensive wine list, cozy environment and great finger foods. I really enjoyed their cheese plate. My husband and I had a great time on game night playing cards against humanity. We were lucky to find seating outside and eventually sat inside. Both environments were lovely. We will definitely be going back!!

Although the balcony isn’t huge, if you can grab one of the prized tables then you’re treated to an excellent view of the First Friday craziness. However the inside seating is also comfortable and invites conversations. There’s lots of dark colors and dim lighting yet doesn’t feel snobby. (I’m a wino newbie) So the delectable descriptions in the menu were helpful. Many time’s I’m torn between choices so it helps having a Flight of Wines—all for a good price. There have been times I’ve told the server how I was feeling and had them suggest for me—and not only do they give good recommendations they also explain WHY they suggested a particular Wine. That’s great service.

Went with three others with a coupon from Groupon. It was our first time there and we were treated as though we were interrupting their night by showing up. Staff was very rude, charcuterie tray was a joked the red wines were served way too cold. About the only thing they had right were the glasses they served the wine in.
