The Station House

Loved this space to work or meet up with friends. Love the tech startup energy / vibe! Perfect for someone like me who works remotely and don’t want to stay at home but want a place where Internet is fast and tea is delicious!! TeBella has so many options, I am SO happy I found this spot! Parking is tricky but during the week, in the morning is no hassle.

Really disappointed. I stopped by a few days ago. There’s no front desk so I called and found a staff person at the desk in the back. “Tessa” was so unpleasant and uninviting that I felt I had to write this review. I haven’t been made to feel so unwelcome at any business. After being treated like an annoyance, I left my business card (have received no phone or email follow up) and decided to check out two other local co-working spaces, despite being referred to this one. The staff at each of them was very pleasant, gave me a tour and said I could stop back for a “courtesy day” to see if I liked their space. Tessa didn’t offer either. My thought was: if this is the way staff treats people who are looking into purchasing a business’s services, how are customers going to be treated once the business has their money? Giving this place two stars, not one, because it looks like a neat space and has a good location.

This co-work space is well decorated and very impressive at first glance. I was here on a day pass and found the working environment to be comfortable and the internet access acceptable. However they were a little under prepared for workers to be setup for a full day. they only had two desks available in a Phone friendly environment and only a single wall outlet to share between them. This put me in a bit of a bind as I needed to power two laptops. The space was clean and quiet and very well maintained for a building built in 1911. I will likely utilize this space again in the future.

The moment we did a tour of the Station House in Downtown St. Pete we knew it was the perfect place to hold our wedding reception. The space is beautiful, practical and not like any other in the St. Pete area. The food at Ichicoro Ane is exactly what we wanted for the event. But the main reason that we chose the Station House was because of Emily and the Station House team. They were the most organized, relaxed, practical event team that I met and I knew they were the ones that would be able to help us plan a wedding reception while we lived in a different state. They were our sounding board over the months leading up to the event from providing advice on anything we asked and on the day they were perfection. My husband and I felt like movie stars, they fed us and made sure we had drinks in our hands, as well as making sure my grandma had her specialty meal, helped older family members walk over obstacles and fixed any problems even before they were problems. They went above and beyond, and yet it was all behind the scenes and all our guests only had glowing reviews about the venue and the staff. Thank you so much for helping create our half ideas into the beautiful reception of our dreams. Everything was perfect and we couldn’t have done it without The Station House team.

I thoroughly enjoyed the aesthetic of Station House. It was cosy and the booth was very comfortable. I chose to participate in the bloody Mary bar, which consisted of the server giving us a Colin's glass with ice, a salt rim, and an adequate pour of vodka. You get to choose which kind of mix you want and they had a handful of other additional mixing. I ended up ordering the Benny with fried oysters and I think what really saved the dish, ( since it was small, the plate was kind of boring visually, and it was pretty expensive) was the black truffle hollandaise. I'd probably go back to have a cocktail during a night out, but I'm not sure about spending $18 on two poached eggs with no side. Overall I enjoyed it.
