Trophy Fish

Once you step through the gates you’d think you were in a outside beach bar! Multiple covered dining & activity areas, order at the cook shack. Had fish spread, hush puppies & black grouper. Fish very fresh and well cooked. Meals served on compostable wares. Good tap beer selection. Attentive wait staff. Accessible ‘heads’, free parking in small lot. I’ll be back!

Before I get into the review of the food, the blonde bartender with the large mustache was definitely giving racist vibes to the colored people in our group. I won’t rate the establishment poorly for it only because majority of the kitchen staff were super sweet and welcoming, just that one guy that was a real a**hole. Okay so, super cute spot, felt like a great vibe. They have live music sometimes and a spinning wheel of prizes, very open air atmosphere. The fish was comparable to the kind you get by the beach for sure. Like amazing quality fresh fillets, perfectly cooked rice and veges. If you’re in St.Pete and you’re not trying to go all the way out to the beach, this is a great downtown alternative that kinda mimicks beach vibes. Drinks were well crafted!

Great atmosphere, excellent food and delicious cocktails. I just had the best spicy margarita of my life , Jovan the bartender made it for me and i couldn't believe how delicious it is. They have a wide range of liquors, wines and beer. I ate a fish tacos with the catch of the day and was extremely tasty. I recommend this place 100% if you are in the area of downtown St. Petersburg.
