An impeccable restaurant under the direction of Chef Gregory James. We came here for my wife's birthday dinner. We were treated to a delightful prix fixe dinner in which every single detail was executed to perfection. This is truly a five star dining experience without the overpriced stuffiness of nearby award winning restaurants. Service was attentive and worthy of special note. The location can only be described as idyllic and breathtaking. A perfect evening indeed!
Love going to Stars on a beautiful weekend and grabbing brunch outdoors. Such a gorgeous setting, friendly staff, and relaxing views. After brunch, we stay a bit later and do a toast with everyone before heading back home. Great memories and big cheers to many more.
The breakfast was unimpressive, honestly I'd recommend walking into town instead. The coffee was outright not good, and the food both days was just okay. I would be giving the place a 4 star if not for the second paragraph here. If you're staying here and looking for breakfast, head over to The Blue Crab or Sprouts instead.
All that being said, the dinner was simply outstanding, one of the best meals I've had in years. The service is impeccable, the menu was fantastic and creative, the course layout was impeccable, the service was fantastic, the wine list was good, if not outstanding, and covered a ton of ground. The ambiance was terrific, if a hair stuffy, and the views are spectacular.
Couldn't recommend it enough for a dinner experience.

Breakfast at Stars was lovely and the view and service was very good. The Inn at Perry Cabin is a wonderful place to stay with gorgeous views of the water.
Picked up food off of the Purser's Pub menu to go for dinner. There is nothing like Chef Ken MacDonald's 4 star food especially if you can turn it into a picnic with someone special. We had the pork chop which was AMAZING, the highly recommended steak sandwich, and fries. Our eyes were larger than our stomach.

4 stars for service and atmosphere. Our waiter Beau was so friendly, polite and provided great service. The outdoor patio is beautiful and picturesque - a great place to enjoy a nice meal and a glass of wine. We each ordered the flounder sandwich on brioche bun; our only complaint is the fish should be larger or the bun should be smaller! Great presentation and sides (salad and fries).

Outstanding fine dining experience. The food was delicious. Great small dishes surprises between courses. They're very fast on bringing the food after your order but I didn't feel rushed. It was just a bit tight in time to drink the wine bottle I wanted.
Flavorful unique tasting menu for dinner in the beautiful tranquil water view dining room. My friend had She Crab, Wild Caught Tuna, and I had Wild Boar Dumplings, Crab Cakes - and we split two desserts with a nice bottle of wine. The crab is so sweet, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. Who knew Wild Caught Tuna had this kind of flavor. Chef Gregory came out to see us since he had met my friend when she confirmed our reservation (and mentioned to him that we are foodies)... and he brought us complimentary tastings of Scallop Crudo and Crab Rockefeller (in an oyster shell). Five star dining at it's finest. We were fortunate to have a private room for a party of eight. The service was excellent, the food was top quality, and the setting was beautiful. Many wedding are held here; I am sure there are an equal number of proposals. The restaurant is on the waterfront of the bay. There is indoor and outdoor dining. There are fire pits and private, enclosed, outdoor rooms.
For a special occasion, if you're in the area, it's quite an experience!
For an exceptional experience this is hard to beat. Very creative cuisine but still focused on regional produce. Located in a long standing boutique waterfront resort.
We had the most wonderful experience at the Inn at Perry Cabin this fall. The food at Stars is truly spectacular - from the omelette and corn cakes at brunch, to the crab cake BLT and Old Bay fries (so good I had it for lunch twice!), to a truly lovely dinner in the River House. The wonderful food is only exceeded by the service. Can’t wait to go back!
Went for lunch last Saturday (3/9/2019). Great food, scenery, decor, and overall, a very relaxing time. Been going there for 25 years now, it was the best cooking. The service was a bit slow, but guess it was Saturday, so, should leisurely enjoyed our lunch. Highly recommend the crab cakes.
