This place is awesome! Fresh seafood, great cocktail and wine options. They even cater to gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian diets. If you're not into seafood they offer a variety of other options ... And they just opened up a new salad bar. I love eating here! It's a local favorite with many regular customers.. The service is suburb as well always friendly, knowledgeable,and polite. A must stop for any one who visits Saint Marys

Good Shrimp. Good local eatery in St. Mary's. Hubby and I both had the butterfly shrimp plate. The shrimp was great and no grease! The portions were do big, I could not eat all of the shrimp on my plate! If you like a quite atmosphere, I would suggest that you sit in the first area of the restaurant. This was our first time eating here and we were seated in the back area. The group behind us was having "way too much fun" and everyone in the place could hear everything that they were saying. Needless to say, when they left the place got real enjoyable. We will return, but we will request to be seated in the front dining area. If you are in St. Mary's, I would recommend this place.
I have been to St.Mary's Seafood 3 times, and each time, the food is incredible. The seafood platter was cooked to perfection, it's hard to cook fish the same each time, but the chef has managed to do this every time, the wait staff was as awesome as the food, great service,friendly faces, and the pure need to make our dining experience the best, I will tell everyone about this place, I'll think I may even call my congressman!
"Officious waiter does us a favor". The food was excellent and the fish are prepared as well as at any upscale foodery (and having a home on the coast I can label myself as an authority on these matters). I went with the seafood platter for starters. The veneer of rice pilaf was a hearty blend mushroom, onions, and carrots (perfect for the cool days that lie ahead). The waiter pushed the latest entree very hard, combo platter pick 2 . After devouring the fish from stem to stern I can see why, he wants the customers to come back. The stuffed flounder is baked to perfection and topped with a delicous cheese and spices , and thanks to Nathanael and his great manners and excellent service I highly recommend this seafood restaurant on your next visit.
Not one thing to complain about!. My husband and I went on date night and absolutly loved EVERYTHING! This was the first time we have been to a restaurant and had not one thing to complain about. The atmosphere is nice and kid friendly. Our sever Kayla was very Knowledgeable and Attentive. The owner came by to check on us and even gave us a free Appetizer since the one we had ordered they were out of. The food portions are huge and the prices are amazing. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely fantastic Seafood. I had grilled shrimp & scallops, baked potato & green beans.. Very flavorful was a Thursday night so service was very quick.. Food hot..hush puppies were just right will eat there again .. Will be a fav. Happy Dining!

I eat at Saint Marys Seafood and More at least twice a week. I have only had a few of the menu items because the burgers, wings, deli sandwiches (lunch only) and the potato soup are amazing so I generally get those. I have had the basa fish and the stuffed crab which was really good too. The service is always friendly and usually pretty fast too. Oh yeah they have great happy hour specials also so it is definitely a nice place to relax after work for a cold drink. I will definitely keep coming to come to saint marys seafood.
This was my husband and I's first time coming here, due to just recently moving to town. We came inside and were greeted with a warm welcome by the hostess Vera! We sat down and within a few minutes our waitress came right over. Her name is Tara, short brunette girl with beautiful tattoos; we HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER! He got our drinks out to us in good timing along with offering an appetizer: we ordered fried gator tail; DELICIOUS! We then split a fried platter for two with all the wonderful seafoods and our choices of four sides. Loves the fried green tomatoes and Lima beans! Yum! And last but not least she offered us desert, we tries their homemade key lime cake! FANTASTIC!!!!! We will surely be back and will definitely be requesting Tara! The food was amazing , along with her service! Thank you St Mary's Seafood!
This is the place to eat!!. This was the first time I have eaten at St Marys Seafood. love the food did not have to wait long for a table,waitress very friendly didn't have to ask for refills on drinks was always there to fill them for us. The owener came around to see how long we had been waitng on the food then returned while we were eating to see if we enjoyed it. Got the platter for two in which it could have been a platter for four, cook great!!! Will return in the future this is worth a try if your ever down in St Marys
My husband and I stopped in as we were passing through. We questioned whether to eat here aftering seeing the outside, but boy are we glad we stayed! Wonderful food! We had the platter for 2 and it was more then enough food. We will be back!
I had the oysters and alligator here and it was absolutely amazing! But not only is the food good, the service is excellent. I sat at the bar and received top notch service not only from the bartender but also from the owner of the place. I absolutely recommend this place if you're near. It's fantastic!

So there IS a good place to eat in Saint Marys!. Since moving here I've griped that there aren't many places worth eating in Saint Marys. A friend took me to this gem of a restaurant this afternoon for lunch and I was delighted.
The wait staff is friendly and the owner even moreso. It really added to the dining experience which doesn't need much help once you try the food.
I'm not one who is often impressed by food at restaurants but there wasn't one thing on my plate that I didn't rave about. The oyster pita boat was delicious and the fried green tomatoes were out of this world. Even the green beans were awesome. My son ate the entire bowl and getting him to eat green veggies isn't an easy feat.
This is definitely going to be the go-to place whenever we go out to eat in the future.

Made my day!!!!. This resturant is amazing! I ate the potatoe soap (which by the way was only $4.99!) and it was soooo good. At first I was un sure because I didn't think soup would be enough for a dinner but the soups at this resturant are big!!!!!

Great Food!. My family visited St. Mary's as vacationers and saw all the cars parked outside of this place, I figured if the locals are eating there, we should too! I was right. The things that I enjoyed the most were the gator bites and the fried green beans. The food overall was stellar, and we had more than enough to take back to our hotel and warm up the next day for lunch. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, check it out!
Such a cute little establishment. Our server was on top of her game and answered all questions to the best of her ability. The calamari was delish for the price.
Great food, service, and very affordable. The menu isn't cluttered with dozens of items, but the items they have are very well made. We went on a weekday afternoon, a group of 4 adults and a baby (high chair provided). The staff was quick to seat us, take our orders, and followed up frequently. Highly recommended.
Darlene was our waiter and she was so sweet and patient! Food was delicious and well priced. We are from Indiana so we wanted to stop somewhere local and I'm glad we chose this place! She even got a photo of our family together for us when we were done eating.

It was our first time visiting this restaurant. The shrimp dinner was delicious! All of their seafood can be made in a variety of options. Their sides are also great. The portions are hearty, so you may need to take some home!
They had good selection on their menu. We ordered butterfly shrimp, seafood combo, and shrimp scampi. Shrimp scampi little on bland side, but everything else was good. Clam chowder was ok, snow crab legs were huge and cooked perfectly, and the creamed corn with bacon was delicious!

This is the type of place the locals know. If you were driving, you could easily miss it. Stop in if you are looking for good food and "man" size portions, I doubt you'll leave hungry. (mine was larger than the large oval plate it came on)
I had and really enjoyed "fish & chips" special (if you've had G. Ramsey's in Orlando, this is better).
The fish was cod and a large piece at that, the beer coating was nice and thick with good crunch and the cod was (as those who know say) to the flake. the "chips" appeared to be made in house, thick but not overly so and salt was light (or perhaps Diamond Crystal). The hush puppies were okay, nice and crunchy but not really memorable (but they weren't the star anyway).
I would defiantly go back or try one of their 3-4 other locations. It seems like a small family run chain where they really care about the product they put in front of you.
It might not be the place for a first date if you are looking for ambiance, but if you want to wow with quality... defiantly!

We had a few apps (Bavarian pretzel and the clam chowder soup). Both were super yummy!
The kids chicken tenders were HUGE pieces of chicken, accompanied by fries, and a fruit cup.
We shared a platter of scallops, shrimp, and the fish. We had it broiled. It was seasoned super well! The Mac n cheese was also AMAZING!
Overall it was a good experience, and we are happy we stopped by!
St. Mary's seafood is a great casual restaurant in south Georgia. The food was excellent as well as our waitress. All of the staff were very attentive and friendly. My wife had the stuffed flounder and i had shrimp. Very tasty!
We wanted a really good steak for our anniversary dinner. We left another restaurant in old town and ended up here. I wasn't thinking that was going to happen at a seafood restaurant. But we were pleasantly surprised - the rib eye was done to perfection - so much flavor. The platter for one was awesome - the hush puppies were like desert!

Restaurant overall needs a good cleaning. Get some paint on those kitchen doors - almost made me turn around and leave, which would have been a shame because the food was so good. The decor could use a good dusting as well.
Glad we decided to eat dinner here. After a long day wandering on Cumberland island we got back to St Marys starving. We took a chance on a local spot and it was a great decision. We both had fried seafood platters. Hers platter had every item they offered. The whole ocean basically lol. Fresh, not Salty, you could taste the seafood. The we had were grits and cole slaw both delicious. And the prices beyond reasonable. We latterly had a platter in our togo box there was so much food.
Really good food but the sizes are ridiculous. The burger is as tall as the glass. There is no way one person can eat this much food and everything is not good leftover. America is over weight and it shouldn’t cost $15-20 per person for a meal. I ordered the coconut shrimp w/2 sides (baked potato and yummy brussel sprouts).
