My profile picture is a Giugni's deli sandwich, which instantly brings back nostalgic memories. Giugni's holds a special place in my heart as I've been visiting every summer for the past 12 years, and each visit has been an absolute delight. However, discovering my gluten sensitivity was heartbreaking because it meant I couldn't enjoy their sandwiches anymore. Thankfully, my excitement was reignited when I learned they offered gluten-free bread, even though it's not as good as the originals. Despite the slight change in aura, possibly due to COVID, walking through that wooden back door, seeing the display of meats and cheese, and being surrounded by snacks and drinks still feels so great. If you happen to be in the area, I highly recommend swinging by Giugni's to grab a sub and experience the nostalgia for yourself!

Honestly, all sandwich shops are not created equally & this little town pretty sure family owned shop is an absolute dime. Cannot miss, do not pass & as my girlfriend & I found out well worth a second stop on the way home. I had the same sandwich 2 times as well as a never heard of previously Australian family owned flavored sparkling fruit drink producer named Bundaberg. So Please if you will upon reading this review know that albeit almost 2 hrs away from my location I would rather make that drive than suffer any local sandwich shops😂🤌🔥🥪💯❤️‍🔥

Do yourself a favor and come in to this place! We booked a winery tasting that allowed picnics, so we stopped by to get a couple of subs, and they were delicious! The fresh mozzarella, prosciutto and their home made pesto stole the show! Our sandwiches came out super refreshing on a very hot day! Will come back whenever in town!

THE BEST Chili in the Napa Valley area... I'm a back door man when it comes to getting my chili, since our C.O. is directly across the alley in back... but the chili is seasonal(only in the cold months), usually starting in October until March or sometimes later depending on the weather. I usually get a small with cheese and sliced jalapeno peppers, and some crackers. I started getting some Fritos corn chips and throwing some of those in there for a change. But when it's not chili season, they make an excellent hot pastrami too! I like mine with swiss cheese on a sweet roll with Guigni juice...

Went up to St Helena for something that had nothing to do with the spring lambs I ordered and just doing that made me hungry so I ended up with a Turkey and avocado sando. Saw old battle axe Nancy just back from Washington because she still carried the stench of stealing from us tax payers, I wished her a timely departure from our planet. Giugnis Deli is top notch and worthy of a two hour drive.

Very cool authentic deli. I wish they had another option for their "juice" that has EVOO instead of canola oil.

Great sandwich! My wife and I split a sandwich to go. They're very big with tons of meat and cheese options. Must get their special sauce which is kind of like a herby, tangy Italian vinaigrette. Suggest getting sprouts to soak it up.

Continues to be a great spot to grab a sandwich, chips, and a soda. Limited seating inside, but there’s plenty of spots around town to sit and eat. Pick up a sandwich and sauce in a bottle to go! All the classic deli sandwich options, with favorites being just about anything on the dutch crunch roll with Giugni Juice.

Giugni Juice tastes like my childhood. My grandma had a similar recipe. Southern Italy 🇮🇹 in da house. Don’t leave home without it. We sauté mushies with it. Salad. Bread dip. I put some in my chicken stock last week. Our family had had a home in St. Helena since 1989 and have never had a bad experience at Giugnis Deli. We hope it will be here forever. Along with brunch at Gillwoods, this is one of the most authentic local experiences you can have. If you need a sando, you cannot go wrong with Giugnis. Thank you 🙏🎉😄

Great sandwiches, they have vegetarian options

This is a gem of a deli - a must-visit every time the family is in town. My wife and I lived on their sandwiches for years while in college, and our friends did, too. There is a lot to take in when ordering; be sure to review the long list of meats, cheeses, and options. The veggie option is great, too. Just make sure every sandwich gets a dose of their “juice.” Don’t forget to buy a bottle to take home. Or seven. It’s that good.

Great deli for sandwiches, meats and snacks!

Fresh sandwiches! Its a small grocery shop, which serves amazing sandwiches. You can customize all you want and it will be made with fresh ingredients. I went here twice during my trips to Napa and was greeted well by the waitresses and the sandwiches were amazing both the time.

Easily overlooked,awful decor but don't pass up this st helena treasure. Giugni's is a great place for a quality sandwich on fresh bread at a reasonable price.

If they invested in a bathroom, a toaster, & some manners, they would actually be good. Perhaps used to the southern hospitality of Nola or maybe I just delt with 2 of the most disgruntled people to ever work in the service industry, but they were just plain rude. It's too bad. People at oakville grocery were much friendlier despite being much more busy. Try there. Good food & good people.

There was a long line when we got there. It's like any other Sandwich shop - pick your bread, cheese, veggies, meat etc. They don't have the option of toasting it. But they will heat it in the microwave if you want it hot. We got the Vegetarian Sandwich - Cheese and Jalapeno bread, Garlic Jack cheese, Mayonnaise, Mustard, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Sprouts, Avocado, Cucumber, Horseradish and Giugni Juice. The thing that I love about this place is that they cut open a fresh Avocado for each order. We also got a bag of chips on the side.
