This use to be our go to Mexican place in St. George. We used to buy the salsa and take it home. They are not that place any more. Our waitress was nice, but the food has gone downhill. The food is ok and the salsa tastes different. This would be a last resort now. I say…. find another place.
If you like cheese, then this is the place for you. There was so much cheese, I couldn't taste much else. What I could taste, was gross. Refried beans tasted like they came straight out of a can and the rice was undercooked.

Our server was so nice, very attentive, she did great. On the other hand the food was just not good. The beans looked like they came out of a can. Very dry. Not a fan at all. The best part of my mean was my salad and chips and salsa. Won’t be going back.
The service, menu & atmosphere were excellent. The food was bland; not much flavor; and we’ve had a lot of excellent Mexican food around the country. We went to Paulas with poor expectation having been disappointed on several occasions. They deserved another chance and we saw great improvement. Salsa could use some improvement. Our food was good and plentiful and it seemed much cleaner.
