This restaurant has been added to our rotation of comfort food places. Atmosphere is festive. Even though the place was filling up while we were there, there was still privacy at the booth since tall booth partitions. Servers are friendly and fast with drinks and refills. Chips and salsa is exceptional! Our dinners looked picture perfect & tasted great! Wonderful place for any night of the week or for a fun event.

Food is fantastic. Atmosphere is great. Staff is friendly. Family friendly. Our whole family loves it. We have never had anything that we didn't love; and it is very reasonable for the quality.
We have tried a lot of different Mexican restaurants in town and in the surrounding areas and this is definitely THE BEST. Have lived in Texas and miss good Mexican food. This is good. My husband loves their wonderful chimichurri sauce and would probably eat a dollar store flip flop if you poured it on.

We had a great lunch at Az-T-Ca Mexican Grill. The prices are great, food was great and the service was good as well. We had the 2 taco lunch and the 2 enchilada lunch. The beans and rice were especially good and the salsa is some of the best we have had!

My picky kids were wanting fast food tacos. I usually don’t order actual tacos from anywhere, but took a gamble tonight. I won BIG! They loved the beef tacos and nachos! It was the best meal for our family movie night!

This has always been my favorite spot. Until last night. I had a group of friends meet up for my birthday. Every plate we ordered was wrong. Literally every single plate. When we pointed it out we got an attitude. Half orders of what we actually ordered, they even cut corners and tried to put to food off the wrong plates into burritos. I have personally worked for the owner and went above and beyond for him. In return we had terrible service and the wrong orders. We ended up leaving paying over 100$ for the worst birthday dinner ever.

Great atmosphere, wonderful servers, the owner has gone above & beyond hearing I am from Texas and wanting to find a place locally as authentic as possible to Tex-Mex. Even offered to make my husband his "viva la vida" meal he orders back home from Pueblo Viejo. Definitely recommend this place hands down, you won't regret it.

We had their steak fajitas for two and supreme beef enchiladas, both recommended. The 20 oz lime and strawberry margarita have a very nice kick. Their salsa needs some heat, my only knock on the joint. Overall, very good food and nice staff.

My friend and I are from out of town and decided to try Azecta for Cinco de Mayo. The food was amazing and the service was awesome. Our waitress was quick and attentive. She was also very nice. I will say that the only setback was that it took a little bit for our food to get to the table due to how busy it was due to it being Cinco de Mayo. However our waitresses let us know in advance there was a wait and made sure we never ran out of chips and salsa and even gave us a tasty bowl of queso!!!! Yum! That will not deter me from giving a 5 star rating. The margaritas we ordered were also delightful. If I’m ever in the Springfield area again, I will definitely stop by here again.

We had not been there since they had doubled the size of the restaurant. Very nice decor. Friendly and accommodating staff. We had a group of 13. Food was excellent. Nice variety on the menu, too. Reasonable prices. We will go back!

Hands down the best Mexican food in Springfield. I am a Chicago native who has lived in the STL metro area for 4 years of undergrad. Recently moved to Spfld and I have tried numerous places (Xochimilcho, La Bamba and Los Agaves). The food was extremely flavor and hot. I ordered 3 steak tacos and the steak was tender, well marinated and grilled to perfection. I also had a few margaritas and they were well mixed. It was a large crowd on cinco de mayo butbthenstaff did an awesome job. The chef came out and greeted everyone and it was an overall great experience. I will ALWAYS eat here. I could eat those tacos everyday of the week. My boyfriend ordered the Swiss Burrito and said it was good as well. Kudos to Aztca!

I've eaten here more than once and the food has never been served the way it is stated on the menu. The last time I was there I order nachos with cheese sauce to go. They gave me chips and salsa. When I went back in to get the order fixed I was told it would be an additional three dollars. The lady wanted to charge me for a whole new order. I was willing to pay the differnce in price but she insisted I had to pay for a whole order since I didn't check my order in the store. And she refusd to give me my money back on the chips and salsa I took back in.
