Nothing special here, and some basic flaws. Pulled pork is supposed to be pulled, not chopped. Burnt ends are supposed to be burnt, not just ends. Beans were mushy and sweet potato fries were from frozen and overcooked. Sauces were ok but nothing special and had very similar flavor profiles.

I try to stop in every other Wednesday, the burnt ends is my personal favorite especially with the reaper hot sauce, its incredible, just the right amount of kick, good portions, the staff is friendly, definitely some of the best bbq.

I love this place! The couple that owns it is just so friendly and kind. Their BBQ is AMAZING! I honeatly would say it's the best in town!! The prices are really reasonable for the portion sizes that they give you. I have not had a bad experience here at all! I always get their froed okra - it never disappoints!! Try their coleslaw too, its so good (if you like that sort of thing). You will NEVER order a bad thing here!!

The food was fulfilling and tasted alright. The appearance of the food came off as sloppy. The supposed Carolina Reaper sauce was not spicy at all (possibly mislabeled?). The cashier was easy going and friendly. There was a hint of cigarette smoke coming from somewhere. What annoyed me was that we are a year into the COVID pandemic and the staff does not know how to properly wear a mask. The chef himself took the liberty to take off his mask to converse with another customer. Meanwhile, I received no service, not even a “Bye” or “Thanks” when I finished. I like their doughnuts but I’ll pass on the BBQ.

My husband and I are in Springfield for a work trip, and we thought we'd look up local BBQ for dinner. I'm so glad we decided go stop at St. Georges, this place is absolutely delicious. Everything is hot and fresh and top notch. We got pulled pork sandwiches (amazing, especially with their BBQ sauce) and homemade sides (I got potato salad and he got the fries - SO good). You have to eat here, you won't regret it!

My husband and I have been here several times. Everything we gave tried here has been excellent.
Fair proportions, the food is prepared very well. They have several types of meat, all tender, moist and flavorful. I particularly like their turkey. But I've tried everything on their menu and I honestly have zero complaints about any of them, which is honestly quite rare for me.
I'm not into sweet tea so I cannot speak to its quality, but I'm sure it is good if you're into sweet tea.
Their sauces are good, their sides are great.
This is the best barbecue I've had yet in Springfield. I'd definitely recommend it over Buckingham or any of the others I've had, most of which I've reviewed here on Google.
