Review Peyton Place Restaurant - Springfield

Google reviews brought me here and I’m glad we did so! The menu may be limited but the food was simple yet delicious. The servers were friendly and the ambience was homely. I liked that they provide honey to go with the hot tea that I ordered. That was special compared to other diners that I’ve visited.

Moe’s is a family owned and operated establishment that is family friendly and a great adult atmosphere as well. They treat you like one of the family. The food and drinks are AMAZING! You can get breakfast, lunch and dinner made to order, any time of the day. Occasionally, events are hosted with live entertainment. I love Moe’s!!!

Moe's Peyton Place is the epitome of all that I had hoped for a bar to be growing up. As I grew up, I would see the stereotypical bar from Cheers or the Simpsons and imagine that every bar had the same atmosphere. Oh, my disappointment when I came of age and nothing quite hit that internal itch of what I wanted a bar to be. Thankfully I found Moe's Peyton Place. I've been coming here fairly regularly for a few months now and I am more than happy to say Moe's has what SO MANY modern restaurants neglect - soul. Let's start with the food: the menu consists of typical brunch/dinner American cuisine, my favorite of which being the corned beef hash brunch. It remains consistent, inexpensive, and incredibly satisfying - really all that you could ask for in bar food. The service is always courteous; I have never had an instance where I felt remotely neglected or bypassed even during the weekend surges. The wait staff are what bring this bar from good to great, they are always a pleasure. The atmosphere: Moe's Peyton Place is located in an area of Springfield that has seemingly been passed over by investors. The surrounding area is a bit run down as exemplified by the abandoned buildings dotting the area. Internally, Moe's Peyton Place is reminiscent of the early 2000's and likely hasn't been updated much since. Despite this, it feels homey - it feels like there's life here. It's difficult to put into words, but this bar feels like a staple of this community Overall, I would highly recommend giving Moe's Peyton Place a shot. More likely than not you'll have a good time and encounter some interesting folk from the area.

Great all day breakfast in this hidden gem. The strip mall is run down and we originally entered into the bar. Fortunately we were directed to the dining room. The service was professional and aimed at meeting our needs. Split a complex check across multiple tables into 3 sperate family bills. The menu is limited but includes all the basics. The food was well prepared and served hot. Very good value for money.

Was looking for a place to take the family for an early breakfast after soccer practice. Was a bit skeptical of this place but let me tell you... hidden gem right here, they are hidden within a small strip of stores and you would totally miss it, if you weren't looking for it. The food was really dang good, I had the Greek omlette with meat. The service was good especially for it being what looked a little short handed. They were not packed so we were able to quickly be seated. Definitely check it out, you won't be dissspointed.

Our favorite bar! Is it a dive bar? Of course. But it's clean and smoke-free. The regulars are super nice and welcoming. The bartender (Nadia! Whaddup, gurrrrl) will absolutely make you feel like family and will likely remember your drink order forever. Her and her mom run the place, and they're so awesome. Karaoke Thursday and Friday night as of now.

Always a great place to go! Food, drinks are terrific! Service is outstanding, can't find anyone better in the area.

Best diner, for food and atmosphere 👌 It doesn't get much better than this. In-between the absolutely delicious crispy pancakes and French toast is banter of regulars coming in and out of the door. Saying good morning to one another or a goodbye. Makes you feel at home, service is as hospitable and timely as possible. Really a dying breed of diner. They have an excellent bloody Mary as well. Would recommend this place to anyone 10/10.

Hello Hunny Bees!!! 🌻🐝👑💕 It's your girl Hunny again giving a review of another local small business. I am from NY as many of you know and in Brooklyn we love diners! I Googled this place to have a business breakfast. I pull up and it looks like it's closed. So I try the door and to my surprise it's open and it feels like I slipped back in time into 1995 to the Galaxy diner in Brooklyn. It felt like home. The owner greeted me with genuine love. I explained I was new and she took care of me right away. It's a hole in the wall so I knew immediately the food was going to be 🔥 🔥. The coffee was so good I ordered decaf. The breakfast was amazing I ordered two eggs🥚 over hard with Canadian bacon 🥓 and homefries. I wish their homefries portion was bigger but overall great place. She even invited me back guys!! This place is on point. I got the omelette with gyro meat, potatoes and English muffin!!!! It was the best omelette. I tasted my husband’s pancakes and the were cooked to perfection. Googled breakfast near my appointment in VA. On woman cooking and the other woman serving and both does an excellent job. I WILL BE BACK FOR SURE. 😋

My favorite breakfast place! Sit back, slow down your life. Listen to the “regulars” bellied up to the bar talk about current events. Great home cooked food in a relaxed atmosphere. Do it!

Perfect little Dive spot. A little while in the wall watering hole with a GREAT atmosphere. It has been around for a while and it shows but you won’t find a place where your able to be more relaxed and be yourself. The food is EXCELLENT! Yes, you May have to wait about 25 to 30 minutes for your ordered food but TRUST ME... totally worth it. Friendly and down to earth staff and just a wonderful place to be. The staff make it their priority to treat you like your just any old regular by learning names and being attentive to you. You could easily get a sense of belonging among the crowd attends. And as far as the smoking goes as I have seen in the other reviews I must be honest I have NEVER seen a person smoking or even an ashtray for smoking people. I just love them.

I’m new in the area So... my husband and I were hungry We enter this amazing place!!! And we had the best welcoming experience ever, everyone is amazing!!! Owners and clients Food is good I loved this place on my first visit Highly recommended Yes it is and old building but don’t even think about it

This place was always a great bar and restaurant to eat at but the State of Virginia closed them down. If they ever open back up I will go back.

Stopped in on my way back to North Carolina. The food was fantastic, the staff are super nice, and they have the best biscuits I've ever had. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stop by!

Down home cooking done right! Exceptional value and friendly atmosphere. Country fried steak is the Best I've personally had. Ms. Mina, the owner, and Tammy, the best waitress I know, (I'm a waitress!) are just terrific people, as are the rest of the staff. Music on weekends, and various special events throughout the month.

Great place to eat breakfast! Yes! This place is for locals! Not for the weak hearted or people with thin skin like Kevin Hensley a couple comments down! Yes it is simple American diner classics not a fancy wine and dine hold your pinky up place! Place to let loose and have fun! Kind hearted place with good people!

Farewell Moe's - a great run at 51 years!

Around for 45 years. (GREAT Sunday Brunch!) Been going here for the whole 45 years. Moe RIP was the best of all people. His wife Mina has taken over without missing a beat. Love them all! Great food and company.
