Jim's Steaks is the best! The one downtown is the best for original atmosphere and needs to be experienced, but the steaks at the Springfield location are just as good and much more convenient when heading to PHL.
I'm never disappointed with a real Philly cheesesteak from Jim's! They'll put anything you want on it and they have good sweet potato fries!

Jim's has been my go-to in Philly since 2003. Tried Tony Luke's last week and that was a mistake. They don't use real Whiz. Great to see Springfield has a location!
The sandwiches were fabulous the service was awesome and the building was immaculate!

Jim’s Steaks will always taste like home for those of us who have lived in or around Philly. This location is no exception. If I’m comparing this Jim’s to downtown Jim’s, then downtown Jim’s will always win, hands down. My sandwich from this location was pretty dry and I wish I had received more onions. Normally, I would rate my experience a 3, yet I’m sure shortages in staff and/or products due to COVID were to blame so I’m giving it a 4.
Their whiz is good. The steak is constantly grilled in front of you. I’d recommend. It now takes the #2 spot for Phillys in Philly (I’ve only tried 4).
I loved my cheesesteak, it was exactly what I ordered. Oddly enough, I didn't personally know the staff, but they made me feel welcome and like I'm part of their family. They make sure each order is personalized by knowing your name which makes you feel that your sandwich was made just for you. This will be my go-to spot for my cheeseteaks from now on.
