Met a buddy here for lunch. BBQ food truck in the lot of Deacon Baldy's. Brisket is amazing. Great rub and super tender. Had sausage and burnt ends as well as cole slaw and mac and cheese. Burnt ends were good, but not burnt enough. Plenty of seating under the barn shelter of Deacon Baldys.

The very best BBQ to be had in our area. However, we cannot get in touch of Tony to place a large order. He will not return emails or calls. It's very unfortunate because his BBQ cannot be beat!

BBQ was good. Burned ends were tasty. I'd eat here again. Support local business!

The brisket is delicious. But then you try the burnt ends and reach a level of delicious you didn't think was possible. Literally everything i have tried on the menu has been spectacular. Can't wait to go for steak night.

Cost of meat is going up so if you can only splurge one place, this is it...the most tender brisket, beautifully tasty burnt ends, ribs to just suck off the bone, fresh crunchy coleslaw. It was heaven in a bag. First time but definitely not last. We are brisket snobs and we have finally found a piece of brisket worth buying. Mmmmmmm....soooo good.....

The brisket was amazing. Best I’ve ever had! Jalapeño sausage and turkey were on point as well. The guy in front of me got the last of the burnt ends so order before 2pm or they’re gone. Very friendly service. Will definitely be back for more!

Really excellent barbecue. A little more spicy than average but it's delicious.

Really good BBQ ... but slightly pricey.
A 1/2 lb. of brisket will run you 15.00. That's what Aaron Franklin charges in Austin ... but even notable BBQ joints (Killen's / Truth) are less than 12.00 a lb. Fortunately, the brisket is really really good ... very moist and nice bark. I especially liked the pork ribs. I'm not a huge fan of a wet rib ... I prefer a dry peppery rub but these ribs were excellent and will likely be the reason I keep coming back. Sausage was good as well ... they only sold jalapeno sausage while we there but I believe that's what most people in Texas order. The burnt-ends were sold out ... which is normal for the time of day we went. If you're not sold out of burnt-ends early in the day, then you're probably doing something wrong. The coleslaw was average ... I don't often run into spectacular coleslaw unless it's a vinegar based recipe (no mayo) but all my friends wrinkle their faces when I try to explain this to them. Last, but certainly not least, the sweet potato casserole is unbelievable. I love BBQ but I also like a good selection of sides and the sweet potato casserole was a definite winner. One more thing to note was the excellent order taker person at the window ... very pleasant and a bright smiley face ... nice job Godfather's. I'd wear your T-shirt. : )

Very "healthy" portion of meat on sandwich, but sorry it's just too spicy for my tastes. Oh so tender meat though. Mac N Chz and Sweet Potato Casserole are out of this world.
