Intimate warm setting. Acoustically rated nationally as top venue for sound. It is ‘perfect’. Well managed friendly special spaces. The kind of atmosphere musicians want to play in. Rusty Young was spot on and Poco was outstanding. Go on line for Dosey Doe The Big Barn and check out the line up of artists to come. Oh, the best for last...Jaykub our server not only showed his service chops, but is the Roast Master for the in-house coffee he makes daily.

I have to say that I've never had a bad meal at Dosey Doe, my favorite being the Sunday Brunch, they serve everything delicious. And, when family or friends are visiting, we will always have one special meal in Dosey Doe's fun and unique atmosphere.

Definitely a great atmosphere is you like live music. I'm used to places where you can dance and have to listen to people have conversations and this was definitely not that. Had a lot of fun!

A great club/venue with excellent food and great Doesy Doe Coffee which is roasted on site. As a self admitted coffee snob, their coffee is wonderful! The owners are warm and genuine as is the staff. Check our the incredible history of this venue, which boasts the best in live entertainment. db&lilmd

Dosey Doe is my favorite place to see a concert. The sound is perfect, and the place is like a museum that I could walk around for hours and soak up the history. You won't find another venue that looks, feels, and sounds this good!

It is a really good place to see a live concert. It sounds fantastic there. My first time there. Was a good experience. The food is a bit pricey. $18 for some nachos that the meat came off the barbecue pit. Not very much meat. I drink one Budweiser and the nachos cost $27. And then I tipped $5.

What a great, cozy venue with fantastic acoustics. Up close and personal with the artists. The service is friendly, and the food is good. One of my favorite places in the Houston area for live music.

I love this venue for live music. There's not a bad seat in the house, it feels really intimate, and the sound is great. I prefer to stand upstairs so I can easily dance. It's a bit too cramped for dancing downstairs. I've never eaten here, so I can't speak to the food but the menu is limited. The bathrooms are small (2 toilets for women) but pretty clean. The back parking lot isn't ideal - the gravel is deep in some places, shallow in others, and it doesn't drain well after rain. I think it would be hard to navigate if you were in a wheelchair or on crutches.

Went to see Spyro Gyra a few weeks ago and unfortunately got sat next to the most horribly egregious, crazy, drunk and drug induced family I have ever encountered. Loud, drunk obnoxious, and worst of all complete pigs at dinner. After about 20 mins into the show the manager politely and discreetly moved us to a different table without us asking or even blinking an eye. He, they(entire staff) were fantastic...after about 45 mins into the show, they asked that table to pay their bill and leave...it was outstanding. I have been here 5 or 6 times and thought this was going to be the worst experience ever. Turned out to be great thanks to the manager, waitress and staff....Kudos to a place that doesn't put up with disorderly, entitled idiots. Will be back again soon.

This was my first visit to Dosey Doe - Big Barn and I came to see one of my favorite artists of all time, Maggie Rose! All I can say, is the venue is AMAZING! Not only is there not a bad seat in the house, but the place is built with the most beautiful, reclaimed beams and planks! I'm a carpenter specializing in custom rustic furniture and design, so this was definitely a sight to behold! The acoustics are PERFECT!! I will definitely be a regular customer from now on! (OH, and Maggie Rose is FANTASTIC, AWESOME, AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, SWEET, AND VERY PERSONABLE!!!)

Incredible venue with amazing acoustics and history. I attended the Arcadian Wild concert and had a blast. Perfect size for a more intimate performance. The place itself is beautiful as it was an original barn in Kentucky in the 1800s and moved to Texas. The service and staff were excellent. Worth it to get there early and walk around to see the decorations.

Fantastic venue for a small intimate setting. Great acoustics, run by pros. Seating can be a little tight but the food is good, drinks are better, and the talent is awesome. So happy they're on our side of town.

Been there a couple times for music and dining. No complaints. I like upstairs, center of stage best. Just look at seating chart before you go and you can't go wrong. Enjoy!!!!
