Great spot for baked goods.
Cute gift items to peruse while waiting for a table.
Great menu.
The food was good but not exactly appealing to look at. Our server was friendly but it seemed the staff was a bit flustered so we didn't get much attention.

I've been here many times over the years for baked goods, but I've never dined in. I was impressed with the menu and the service and I will definitely be back. I had the meatball appetizer and grilled chicken salad and enjoyed them thoroughly.

My favorite local place! Everything you could ask for in a place. The food is delicious and the bakery has amazing selection.
My top favorites are the San Marino sandwich, the waffles, and don't get me started on the artichoke dip! 😋

This place has a distinctive charm. I found it enjoyable, although I forgot to capture any photos. The exterior is eye-catching in a positive manner, while the interior is somewhat dated. The unique aspect is the attached bakery, which adds to its appeal. I ordered an omelette that was excellent, but oddly, the bread didn't stand out—it might have just been a one-off. Despite that, it's definitely worth a visit for the overall experience.

While visiting the area we stopped in for lunch and had fine time with good food. On our way out my husband bought a fresh pretzel from the bakery and I had one bite. The next day we went back and bought 3! So heavenly.

Was a very enjoyable experience when I last visited a few weeks ago. Thin crust & well done pizza is my thing, and it came out perfectly. Definitely will be back!

Best tasting breakfast food in west Michigan! The experience is worth the wait for dining. Village Baker has a separate takeout room for easy pickup which is very useful. They also make the best carrot cake I’ve ever had.

I felt like I was eating at the Casita from the Disney movie “Encanto”! The menu is absolutely GOATed. I already wanna go back. I wish I lived closer, I’d eat here all the time.

The ladies from Fields Fabrics recommended the Village Baker to us for lunch. We're glad they did. We had to wait a bit for a table. The food was excellent. We had chicken salad with curry soup and a Ruben. All the food came quickly and was excellent.
Be sure to also check out the bakery. The bread is amazing and they have lots of variety in their cookies and donuts.

If they have 10 stars it's not enough. This bakery is the diamond 💎 of this area. One part is the restaurant, the second part is the bakery and between you can buy some little stuff for the house. Restaurant food is amazing. Everything is made there, you can say homemade food tastes so good. I love French bread but they have all kinds of different bread and pastries. Highly recommend this place 👌
