Jose's is absolutely a gem in spring lake I've been going for years and every time it's always amazing. The horchata is always fresh, the burritos are absolutely worth the price, and frankly cheap compared to the weight of them. And do yourself a favor and grab a tamale with your food. My parents have come here a couple of times and they love the small, cozy atmosphere. No frills! But the food is great! They had the crazy burrito and I got the chicken enchiladas. The guac and salsa are great! I’ll definitely be back when in the area!

Came here after a day on the beach at Spring Lake. I'm a big burrito lover, and this is definitely one of the best burritos I've ever had! I got the spicy chicken Diablo Burrito - it was HUGE, so flavorful, and made with cilantro and other fresh ingredients. Will definitely be returning when I am back in the area again!

I stopped in while traveling based on a recommendation for reasonably priced good food from a local. The recommendation was spot on.
The beef tacos with rice and beans were delicious. There were two well filled tacos and one was easily enough for a meal. My friend enjoyed her fajita salad and would recommend it. Also a large serving, I think she took home more than she ate at the restaurant. Chips with fresh salsa were served to the table as soon as we sat down.
Our server was friendly and competent.
There's plenty of light and a family friendly atmosphere. The extensive menu has something on it for everyone.
