Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

I'm frustrated that I even have to take the time and leave a review like this but our experience has been so bad with this particular location that it requires it. Our family has ice cream every Sunday and this is the only Dairy Queen in our area so we are kinda forced to go even though our experience has been terrible nearly every week (food wise). Every week, we order blizzards and every week, I pay and request extra toppings because we usually just get ice cream only in them - and ice cream soup at that. Having been so frustrated that we get charged every time we come for the extra toppings to none being in, today was the final straw for us and we will not be visiting this location anymore. As you see from the pictures, I paid 5.71 for extra toppings for 3 blizzards and got nothing but melted ice cream (which is normal every single week we come) and no toppings - certainly not extra toppings. As I ordered, I specified that I knew extra toppings were a charge but to please ensure they are there and said we don't get them nearly every week we come after making sure to specifically mention it. This is our experience about 3/4 weeks of the month we come here and after about 6 months of this, we simply have had enough and will now be trying Culvers across the street. I really like to give people the benefit of the doubt but when you see the amount we have been paying each weekly trip versus what we aren't getting, it's just unacceptable and a complete waste of money. It's even more frustrating that I ask nearly every week to ensure they are in there and then get this...then I read the reviews today and it's clear this is a management issue. With the amount of people having a similar issue, it doesn't appear DQ cares enough to fix some really bad impressions and experiences.

We waited for over twenty minutes for a cheeseburger and a kids grilled chicken wrap meal. There was only one car in front of us and it still took twenty minutes.I had to keep reminding them to make our drinks and the ice cream melted by the time we got it. I also asked for ketchup twice and they never gave it to me. After we left I realized the grilled chicken wrap I ordered was made with fried chicken.

My whole ice cream order was wrong I was given cones instead of cups and vanilla ice cream instead of chocolate I was scared to ask for the right order because of the immature teenagers all Treating the restaurant like a hangout instead of their job and thought they might do something to my food. On top of it it smelled like weed. If I could give it zero stars I would.

We stopped in on Sunday at 10:30, so after they stopped serving breakfast (but we didn't know that), and we really wanted biscuits and gravy. The staff was very friendly, and said that is was not a problem and even brewed a fresh pot of coffee for us. Everyone was very nice. The place was clean. Best service I have had at a Dairy Queen.

Horrible Customer Service. Where to start? Let’s see, there was absolutely nobody in drive through and there were maybe 6 people (3 families) in the whole building. SO, it was not busy. However it took them around 25 mins to get my food, oh and did I mention they gave us someone else’s food at first, and after my boyfriend had already touched the burger- she came and took the order and served it to the original order holder. By the time we got our food, we were already irritated. My boyfriend ordered plain and got everything on it and then some with sauce all over the burger, so he only ate half of his $10.00 meal. They forgot our ice cream so I had to ask for it, which took them another 10 mins to prepare, my boyfriends ice cream had a hair buried in it. So again, he didn’t eat over half of his meal. Only the fries, for $10 and a 40 min wait. For the amount of money we have to pay; this is pathetic.
