A great local place to eat some great authentic dishes. I recommend my favorite Ribs and Chicken best around. We started going for breakfast a few weeks ago the best Bacon hands down. As you can see I love the place good service great food � keeps me and my family and friends coming back.
My boyfriend and I recently moved to Spotswood and have been wanting to try this place. We finally did and it was absolutely worth the wait. Delicious food, AMAZING dessert (I wish I could remember what it was called. It was vanilla cookie crumbs layered with heavy cream). Very friendly staff. It's a very casual, laid back environment. Everyone that walked in had a bottle of wine with them, so I'll definitely remember that when we go back. We made sure to take home a menu because we will definitely be making regular visits to this place!
My son works next door to this place an loves it we live 45min Away but he really wanted me to try it so we went for dinner tonight. First off the owners were so nice, very friendly ,and welcoming. The food was great we started off with the mozzarella sticks that were cooked to Golden perfection and they came with a side of some kind of sweet and spicy sauce that was dee-licious. I had chicken an garlic sauce with nice crispy fries as my main meal. Chicken was cooked perfectly so moist and tender and the garlic sauce was just the right amount not too overpowering with the garlic and not underwhelming it was just right. Portions were huge an you def get your fill. We got upside down cheese cake to go for desert was so good. Everything was wonderful I would recommend here. Family owned and run business you can definitely tell they enjoy what they do interacting with the customers and making sure you leave very full and satisfied
Food is fresh and reasonably priced. Portions are large. I always have a doggie bag big enough for another meal. The owners are friendly and will answer all your questions on how things are made and flavors. Leave room for desert you will not be disappointed. This place is a local gem. They are closed on Mondays and they serve breakfast Saturday and Sunday. The bacon is smoked on site.
This place is fantastic. It’s a pleasant experience from the time you sit down to eat to the time you walk or the door. The staff is so welcoming and they ALWAYS take the time to make conversation with every table in the restaurant. And the food, OH MY GOD THE FOOD, everything is made to order and I guarantee every bite is worth the wait. The breakfast is to die for, and dinner? Be prepared to take a doggy bag home, SO MUCH FOOD for such a good price. So go check it out, you won’t be disappointed!
Absolutely the best hands down Portuguese Restruant I been to. Food is fresh prices are reasonable. Staff is very friendly! Only suggestion is get there early on weekends place is crowded at dinner time! 100% recommend

We pass by often going to and from the supermarket and Dr.s office. We always comment about stopping in and giving Otilia's a try. Tonight, we finally pulled in, and we were not disappointed. We were graciously welcomed and greeted as soon as we walked in and given the warmest table in the house (freezing outside), according to Fatima (one of the owners). We ordered a sampler platter for our appetizer, and the chicken madeira and rib/chicken plate for our entrees (sides all homecooked down to the fresh fries). EVERYTHING was fresh, made to order, and to put it mildly... HEAVEN ON EARTH!! The service was the best I've ever experienced, Fatima was extremely attentive, patient, and accommodating when I explained my food allergies. Her husband, John, the chef, took time out to come to our table and chat with us and ensure we were satisified!! We didn't feel like patrons because from the first moment we were treated like family!!! This lil Cafe is truly a hidden gem!!!! We will be back again and again!!! Thank you for such a wonderful experience and meal!!
My family absolutely loves Otilia's! Tonight we ordered a platter of deliciously seasoned roasted chicken with a side of fries and rice (included) and an additional side salad. It was exactly what this working family of four needed, a tasty home-cooked meal to-go! And so affordable!!Thank you, Otilia's!!!

Delicious food and great service. We had the shrimp in garlic sauce appetizer to start. Great flavor in the broth. Hubby had the salmon with shrimp and said it was moist and fresh. I had the Portuguese pork and clams special. The pork was so tender and the red wine based sauce was amazing. Can't wait to visit again!
Yummy start to finish! I had pineapple soda plus veggie bites while waiting for my vegetarian "chicken" madeira with hand-cut fries on the side. We finished up with some decadent creamy cookie pudding parfait (I had to take some food home to make room for dessert because their portions are so generous!). They were great with my friend's kids, and I would absolutely recommend this delicious, family-friendly restaurant (and will totally be back!)
Ate here last night and must say I'm sorry it took me so long to visit this place. The food is amazing the service is awsome. The owners come and talk to you. The price is not an issue. I had chicken n ribs and it was to die for. And the picadio is delish. Please spread the word to visit this place and make it famous they deserve it. I am a customer for life. When I'm there I am ANTONIO FONSECA!!!!!!
Got takeout earlier tonight for dinner and was very impressed. The special full order of chicken and ribs was excellent, as were the sandwiches, and freshly cut french fries. I give it my top recommendation for takeout food in the categories of price and quality!
The food is always awesome. The portion size is huge. And the service is always fantastic. Customer service is 150%! And the place is spotless. They are right on the mark every time.
We have dined in once and catered Christmas Eve and everything was truly outstanding. The pernil and the garlic shrimp were crowd pleasers. Portions were very generous.
Authentic Portuguese food! Can't be beat! Warm and friendly atmosphere. Large portions that are so rich in flavor you may forget you're not in Portugal! I am always pleasantly surprised by their creative and yummy specials. You must try it!!!

My favorite Portuguese place in the area. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The family who owns and runs it are simply lovely (especially Debbie) and the serradura, so delicious, I could gain 200 pounds on that desert alone!

Otila's Cafe is still putting out delicious food. They can not be stopped by a pandemic! Sandwiches are tasty and filling. Ribs are so satisfying. And the dessert (sawdust) is a perfect ending. I cannot say enough about the owners, they are professional, helpful and boy can John cook! Food made with passion and love. ♥️
Food is always good. Owners are onsite and super nice. One of the few places that makes a decent cortada in the area too
