Popped in for some breakfast and a latte. Space is cute and inviting, staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was tasty and made fresh right behind the counter. Great place to stop and grab a bite while exploring the shops on the square.

I live in Bloomington but I come out to Spencer as often as I can to visit this wonderful café!
The coffee is delicious and always fresh, and the food menu varies from day to day with excellent options like carnitas, gyros, tamales, sandwiches, salads, and soups. I’m always excited to find out what their made-from-scratch soup variety of the day will be! On Saturdays, you can’t miss the smoked salmon bennie for brunch.
The environment here is always light, friendly, and peaceful. Every element of design and decor in this restored 1870s brick building is intentional, which is a testament to the owners’ care and love for their business and for the community. Main Street Coffee is just an all-around wonderful place to visit.

Just went in for the first time since the reopen. The place and the attention to detail is amazing. Not to mention my coffee and muffin was excellent. Love that this family has put so much pride and love into their craft.

A gem in the Midwest! This is a sure stop if you are traveling through Spencer -- great coffee, great pastries and small bites (they have a small, well thought out lunch and breakfast menu that looks AWESOME) and probably the best brownie I've ever had in my life (sorry, Mom). Check them out!
