Firstly, let's look at the fact that there 130 reviews and all of them are 5 stars. In the world of online reviews, that just doesn't happen. But let me tell you folks, this is no mistake. Main Street Coffee truly is a five-star establishment. I'm sure in a year or so this little coffee shop will be on one of those 'top 20 coffee shops in America' episodes of some famous person's show. If you haven't been here yet and you really want to be hip, you should go now so you can say you knew about it before it was famous.
Anyways let's talk about a few things on the menu. I think everyone can agree that they have the best tamales; but today I tried something new. Of course I wasn't disappointed- I now found the best gyros in the area! (The title used to be held by 10th Street Market in Bloomington)
They have everything going for them: great service, great atmosphere, art, fantastic menu, great social media presence, great location. If I wasn't so ultra-caffeine sensitive, I might push for a bike trail from Gosport to Spencer just so I can be there everyday. (Gotta be environmentally conscious)
Thanks for doing what you do, Main Street Coffee, and keep up the great work! You're a gem.
We love Main Street! They have the most creative and tasty menu and their coffees are high quality! Always hits the spot! P.S: Their Coke Noir is a special treat! A must try!
Popped in for some breakfast and a latte. Space is cute and inviting, staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was tasty and made fresh right behind the counter. Great place to stop and grab a bite while exploring the shops on the square.
This place is amazing! The atmosphere, the staff (almost all family), the food, the drinks...all fantastic! The Belgium waffle was to die for!

I live in Bloomington but I come out to Spencer as often as I can to visit this wonderful café!
The coffee is delicious and always fresh, and the food menu varies from day to day with excellent options like carnitas, gyros, tamales, sandwiches, salads, and soups. I’m always excited to find out what their made-from-scratch soup variety of the day will be! On Saturdays, you can’t miss the smoked salmon bennie for brunch.
The environment here is always light, friendly, and peaceful. Every element of design and decor in this restored 1870s brick building is intentional, which is a testament to the owners’ care and love for their business and for the community. Main Street Coffee is just an all-around wonderful place to visit.
Had a Caramel Macchiato and a veggie sandwich, both were delicious. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere.
First time visitor: loved the ambience/styling. My customized drink was fantastic and the whole family loved the "donuts."
Just went in for the first time since the reopen. The place and the attention to detail is amazing. Not to mention my coffee and muffin was excellent. Love that this family has put so much pride and love into their craft.
Haven't tried the food, but my latte was good. Very cool vibe.
A gem in the Midwest! This is a sure stop if you are traveling through Spencer -- great coffee, great pastries and small bites (they have a small, well thought out lunch and breakfast menu that looks AWESOME) and probably the best brownie I've ever had in my life (sorry, Mom). Check them out!
