First time here, it was Tuesday evening for dinner. It wasn't very crowded and it appeared there weren't many staff. The young lady that seated us, took our order and served us drinks did a fantastic job. I'm sorry I didn't get your name but I told you directly how much we appreciated your service. She was waiting on all the tables in the dining area and was working her butt off. Good food, great service. Both of us enjoyed the fresh house salad with the Chicken Bruschetta on linguini drizzled with balsamic vinegar. My chicken was a hair on the drier side but not enough to complain about or keep me from eating every morsel on my plate. My wife's chicken was perfect. She said her take home slice of chocolate pecan pie was even better. We would definitely eat there again and would recommend it as well.
Fantastic waitress food was good we were in the dining room side I wish I would have gotten the name of the waitress so professional but warm
1000% would come back. I'm not sure if this qualifies as a hidden gem, but every item of food we had from this place was delicious. We even got sucked into dessert (after already being stuffed) after seeing someone else order. The list of homemade desserts were staggering and I was not disappointed with the blueberry pie. Our waitstaff was amazing and very friendly. Beautiful views and very quaint.
This place was great. My wife had the pork chop...over the top good, and I tore up the Open faced roast beef with the boss brown gravy! Definitely worth the drive....highly recommend!
Oh, and the staff made it an experience we will not soon forget.
Loved it!
By far the best restaurant in Speculator. Had dinner there three nights in a row, twice in the dining room and once in the pub, and never needed a reservation (although recommended, especially on weekends and mid summer). The food was always great, large portions and reasonably priced, and the servers and hosts we're always friendly, accommodating and skilled. The tables and restrooms were always clean, the chairs were comfortable and the temperature was just right. And there was no blaring music.
Always a pleasure going to the Inn, you won't find a better friendly Adirondack experience. Good food, good people, great staff
What a wonderful place in a lightly populated area. In planning a trip to the Adirondacks last week, went on line to look for motels and restaurants. The Inn at great reviews, and it was not a mistake to stop. The food was excellent, the prices reasonable and the staff was very pleasant and friendly. Fine dining with a causal atmosphere. Can't say enough good things about it. If I could give the Inn 10 stars, I would.
The day we ate there they were understaffed and apologetic. The food was very tasty. The setting was appealing and great view since it was near Lake Pleasant. Restaurant is clean. Good break after driving for hours in that area.
