Doreen's Restaurant

My husband stopped by the Doreen's Restaurant hoping for a good breakfast, we just couldn't eat another greasy meal and thought maybe this would be our spot. When we arrived there were only two tables occupied. As we walked in there was a cashier and we had to order on the spot and pay up front - that was unusual. We were given a number and asked to sit anywhere. Easy choice since only 2 other tables were filled, however, several tables were filled with dirty dishes and food. We tried to look past the mess and hoped for the best. As we sat down the restaurant became incredibly busy and within no time all the tables were full, money had exchanged hands and we were waiting for this terrific meal - after all it looked as if the entire town was eating at Doreens. Our order came and of course it wasn't what we had ordered, when I asked for another cup of coffee as she set the dishes in front of us the one or two waitresses said that she would try to get to it. Since we had already paid we just left. The funny thing is that I don't think she missed us. The sad part is-that as we waited for our food my husband and I thought of so many ways the owners could fix their restaurant to be a real money-maker.

Stopped by on our way to Marissa..ordered and received the weirdest cheeseburger and I also ordered a fish sandwich and I got one piece of fried fish on a bun..no spreads..no lettuce..tomato. Honestly you can increase your prices if you provide quality food. Very disappointed. The locals then told me that their 3 piece chicken is good as well as breakfast..do not eat anything else.
