I just recently saw that someone marked Sonic on McCarran in Reno as permanently closed. However, I saw this post on their facebook page. I love this location so I hope this is true.
Went to sonic on 6/8. After ordering and returning home we found a hair in our shake and the meet looks way under cooked. After speaking with the manager he stated it's a new meat and it will look more red then the meat used too. This doesn't looked cooked to me, so I'll be eating else where now.
bacon was rancid fries cold. burger was pretty much terrible. not the first bad experience here. ordered tater tots that took 15 mins took cook an receive...... im confused how the health department hasn't closed this location after the foul bacon i bit into.
They make a mean cherry limeade and their pretzels are tasty. Their mango limeade freeze is also fantastic.
Their Happy hour options are great with half off drinks from 2-4pm and half off milkshakes from 8-10pm.
It's a great place for a quick bite!😁
Very fast service. Easy parking. Much bigger than the sonic macaron blvd.
Mostly come here for the drinks (isn't that why this place is still around?) but the burgers aren't bad. Ordering drinks ahead of time on the app gets you 50% off all the time. 👍
Good food. Fast friendly service. Wish they had green chili though.
