Review Siu Korean Bbq - Sparks

The tri tip is surprisingly tender, more so than the actual short rib. Well seasoned variety of different meats of all types. Service was moderately slow but the food itself is worth it for sure, especially at the price. Would definitely return.

Fast service, food was good, price was reasonable. Left the restaurant with high satisfaction. They close on Monday. I updated the picture menu with new price for Jan 2022. We don’t have to wait for table at all. Love this restaurant.

It’s in a pretty secluded area, when me and my girlfriend went, it wasn’t too packed in there. It’s a nice setup inside, and what mainly stood out was how fast the service was. I was definitely satisfied with their service and how quick they were getting our orders out. The meats they had and appetizers were definitely on point. We’ll definitely be back there again next time I’m in the area!

This is the best place to eat. Great food and great waitresses. We eat here at least twice a week. Love this place. The meats are extremely tender and everything is always tasty. We have never ordered anything that hasn’t been great. Waitresses have always been cheerful and polite. It’s our favorite restaurant for sure. Nowhere better.

First time having Korean BBQ. I didn't realize there was two pages of the lunch menu and ate about a dozen orders of the various beef offerings before realizing I could get shrimp, chicken and pork. The pork. Omg. Nothing, and I mean nothing in this life compares to pork belly, it's intoxicating. Lunch is inexpensive, like $24 bucks for two hours of amazing food with zero delay from ordering to delivery. I love this place 🥰

Excellent experience. Excellent service. Food was quick and very good. Great selection. Cook at the table to your satisfaction. Hot plate was changed multiple times. I would definitely 👍 go again. We were at the corner of McCarran and Prater just behind the Cvs.

I didn't want to leave a review because I want this place to stay a hidden gem. I have been to another Korean BBQ spot in Reno and this by far surpasses it. The servers were integrative and helpful. They have homemade soju that was so delicious. My favorite was the Miso Pork and all the veggie sides.

Food was good I will say that. It can be a fun experience. They bring you the food and you cook it yourself. However, that being said, we had a reservation group of 6 and we seated at separate tables and still had to pay the 18% grat. My table wasn't even waited on until after 20 mins of sitting. We asked for veggies our first course which never received. We asked for sauce our second course and never received. The service was lacking and barely existed. I couldn't believe we had to pay that 18% when we didn't even sit with each other as a group and didn't have any service.

So we checked out Siu Korean BBQ. Gotta say super impressed. Really good selection of meats and seafood. We started with Fried Wantons, Fried Dumplings, and Fried Oysters. Nice filling in the dumplings and wantons and the fried oysters were plump. Then it was basically every beef on the menu. We don't like to cross contaminate so we stick with one protein. Nice size portions, good flavors and the marinates really accentuated the beef. Love the fact they have Oyster Mushrooms too. Finished off with some marinated whole shrimp. For a bottle of Soju, a cocktail, a soda and two dinners was $75 which was fantastic considering at Ijji 4 we spent almost $100 for the exact same items and we got more here. This place definitely is a winner. Sorry Ijji 4 but this place more closely resembles the Korean BBQ from Vegas and is our go to spot for Korean BBQ. Added bonus was the Chinese and bubble tea place attached. Same menu as Crawfish Asia and I got a really really good Iced Sea Salt Vietnamese Coffee for dessert. Time to relax.

The food here is amazing, all you can eat so if you leave hungry it's your own fault. The calamari steak, the shrimp, the Hawaiian steak, onions, mushrooms, the pork, the chicken are all exceptional and should not be missed. For an extra treat try the Korean drink (can't remember the name) but it comes in different flavors and is much better than sake. My son and I totally recommend this restaurant for anyone who is hungry for a new type of food, not to be missed.

Tried it during their soft-opening. Was initially impressed, compared to the other option in town. Upon second visit, was sadly disappointed by a much reduced menu variety. Substantially less menu items (meats, sauces, sides, etc). Service was "average" -had to ask for plates, silverware and napkins. Wouldn't recommend it.

Great ambiance, friendly staff and the food was fabulous. The miso soup was the best I ever had with mushrooms and a kick of spice. Quality meats and seafood.

I was very excited about this restaurant, but was quickly shocked by the price tag when I arrived. At $27 a person I was expecting a lot. We had very sporadic service, taking up to 20 minutes before getting our meat. We didn't have the utensils we needed (tongs, scissors, etc). And needed to ask for them. They forgot to turn on the burner and we had to ask for that as well. I understand it is just a soft opening right now, but they showed a full menu. This meant that half the things we asked for they could not provide. It would have been much more convenient to have a separate menu of what IS being served rather than the full menu. Seeing the servers was rare, and there was even one time when they asked if I wanted water, I said yes, and then the server walked away without refilling my water. As for the food, that was spot on! The food was amazing and we all ate until we were beyond full. Overall, I don't know that I would return again until 1) they are fully open and 2) I know the service issues have been addressed.

The food was great. Good service and I agree with more staff needed but even then the staff is super nice and helpful. Only thing is that it's supposed to be a Korean BBQ so I would like for them to play some kpop or Korean music. It would make the experience better!

Service sucks, they don't have half of the things on the menu. Currently sitting in here while typing this. Host has nasty attitude. Bunch of workers just pass by and don't bother to check on you. Small choices of meat especially since they don't have all the items on the menu. Never coming back. Ijji kbbq is way better and so much more attentive.

We have been a regular at crayfish and we're anxiously waiting for this sister restaurant to open, you won't be disappointed! The decor is beautiful, the staff engaging and the food is amazing! Looking for a fun and unique experience, this is the place to go.

Probably the best Korean BBQ I've ever had, the Bulgogi tri tip was on point

2 of us had the bag meal, a lb of crawfish, a lb of mussels and a lb of shrimp. To die for. Waiter was outstanding. Clean, quiet and delicious

My family and I went and it was our first time eating Korean BBQ and we were so thrilled. The selection of meats and seafood were excellent and the service was impeccable. The staff was friendly and noticed every time a plate or cup was empty and always serviced with a smile. We will definitely be going again and soon.

Food was great, the process was fun, and the staff friendly! All you can eat for one price! I'll be back and i'm telling my friends!!!

The NY Steak is legit. The atmosphere was great. I know they are still working on the menu as it is still in the soft-opening stage. All in all, I recommend it to everyone. I'll go back in a couple of weeks to try everything else.
