Review Pinocchio's Bar And Grill - Sparks

I'm really surprised by the good reviews of food here. The food is not good and it's so expensive. I went here last night with my husband and two other people for a reservation at 7:45. I ordered fish and chips and husband got ravioli. My fish was so fishy I almost sent it back but didn't want to look rude in front of the other people we were with. The ravioli my husband had was so bland and it was sitting in water. Like they didn't strain it good enough. I did order extra crispy fries which they were. The waitress sure made us feel super rushed to order and leave. She also was wearing one of those glitter/crystal masks that you can kind of see through because the material is like mesh. I thought that was off seeing she was serving us food. I know we're in a pandemic but just wear an appropriate mask especially around food. My husband and I each had one beer and the entree and the bill was $65 before tip. So expensive for frozen food. It surely wasn't fresh and wouldn't go here again.

We had all 3 of the chicken dishes. Good sized portions. All good and tasty. Sat in bar. Good service. Definitely go back.

My lovely wife and I had lunch at the Disc Dr location here in Sparks. This is certainly going to be one of my favorite places to eat. The service was great. The food was great. The serving size was more than the usual. Roxy day the steak dip and I had the 50/ 50 appetizer. There was enough for us to take home and have lunch the next day with ! Pinocchios is a bar and grill with interesting decor to say the least. Parking is easy with two disabled spots and wheelchair access. Go there and enjoy !

This is for the experience. Depending on what you order and if lunch/dinner, could be 4 or 5 stars. Now my 5 star rating - the staff are all you could hope for. Nice, courteous, respectful and fun. You can see and hear their smiles under masks. The decor is fun and you can even add your own personal vintage touch. Try this place and you will find yourself coming back for a happy and relaxing family meal.

Super fun place the décor is pretty amazing. You won't be bored looking at all the things that they have on the walls and ceilings. I went their with a large group. Everyone was very happy with their food and the service was excellent! I had chicken lasagna it was wonderful. I tasted the fries too they were great! Large portions for good price. I will be back. Great place for families , large groups and couples.

Always have a good meal here. The menu is not as big as it use to be, probably cut back due to covid-19. Love all the stuff hanging and pitcures. Feel free to come to one of the two locations and see for yourself.

Always a great experience at Pinocchio's! The service is great and so is the food. We love the $12.95 Spaghetti & Meatball Special on Tuesdays! It's a huge portion (so there's enough left over for lunch or dinner the next day). 2 large meatballs that have incredible flavor, garlic bread and a salad.

Whenever we're in Reno, we make it a point to come here. The food and cocktails (Gran Can Margarita...yum!) are great and we love the decor and atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Really good food. Salads are plentiful , i usually get salmon or chicken , both are tasty. My last was a grilled cheese, one if the best I've had. Good draft beer selections and full bar.

The best prime rib that i have ever eatin. The staff is better then any restaurant staff in Reno. O yea bread pudding ain't to bad either. If you have not had the chance to experience JP humor your missing out.

Best food in town!! JP and his staff to a great job. They are always pleasant no meter how busy they are. I recommend this place to everyone.

Our first time was last night for dinner, everything was excellent!! We are thrilled to find a place where not only is the food good but Service is impeccable, the waitress had perfect timing and she was knowledgeable about the food.

"Hey Farva, what's the name of that restaurant you like with all the goofy stuff on the walls and the mozzarella sticks?" Well in sparks it's not called Shenanigans, it's called Pinocchio's. And the daily specials are great! A bit to over priced but staff is awesome with kids!! Spaghetti nights rule!!

This is one of our favorite restaurants. The service is always excellent, portions are large and reasonable $.

Great Food/Atmosphere. The food is super, good service and a fun atmosphere. I go whenever I can as I live in the area.

Specifically joined Urban Spoon to complain about this place. Service was horrible even though the place was empty, and the food was gross: basically warmed up canned sauce and store bought pasta that was overcooked. The final straw was when I ordered a soda and they brought it in a can... no free refills on soda the server said... pretty stupid pinching pennies on soft drinks when it is going to cost you customers, and fountain drinks cost like 2 cents to make.

Good Food Horrible Manager. Must be nice to be able to turn away business from an empty restaurant. Took a party of 25 in around 5pm on a Saturday. Restaurant had only 3 parties seated.They couldn't give us one table-undestood. We said we could break up into groups of 4 or 5 plenty of tables and servers available. They started sitting us on different sides of the restaurant even though there were plenty of tables next to each other on one side. Asked politely if it would be possible to sit on the same side-manager said no, the servers couldn't handle it. O.K. Then in the next 10 minutes she sat 3 more parties next to us(not part of our group). When asked why our parties couldn't have been seated next to us instead, the manager, I believe her name was Debbie, replied through clenched teeth "It's my restaurant and I will run it the way I want". We laughed and said O.K. She then proceeded to stare at us throughout dinner . Hope the owner hears about how she tries to drive away business. Even though the food was good, we will never go back and encourage all large parties to stay away.

Food is good. Staff pretty good. The owner seemed to be a jerk.
