Absolutely amazing southern cooking! It was definitely random how we found this little place and it was so very much worth it! If you want some great southern food I would totally recommend this restaurant!
The macaroni and cheese is awesome! So creamy and great cheddar cheese flavor. I had a bite of the collard greens and the were smoky and seasoned perfectly. And the kicker for me is they have my fave drink of all time KOOL-AID! Go try them out you will not be disappointed.
You must go here! There is not an option to not give this place a try. I went in expecting great things and i was blown away with just how great this place is. I had gizzards and greens, hubby had fried chicken, Mac n cheese, mashed taters, fried fish and a corn bread muffin. We shared. There was no reason not to. I wanted peach cobbler but i was so full. Now i have to go back to try everything else.
This was absolutely the best soul food I’ve had in a long time. I’m so glad southern cooking is here in Reno/Sparks — because M&M Southern Cafe does EVERYTHING right! Not only is the food amazing, but the service is amazing too. We went to their truck at Food Truck Friday yesterday and were totally blown away by the food and friendly service. We will be back!
Great food and great service!! 😀. The atmosphere is wonderful. I love the smell of southern food as I walk into this place. The oxtails are my absolute favorite! I also love the liver and onions, gumbo, and catfish. I love it all. They even have alligator on a stick! You have to try this place if you haven't already. Life is beautiful when you can enjoy good food. ☺. I give this place 100 stars!! The people who work here are lovely. Service with a smile and great conversation. This is a really popular place. Oh, and their sweet tea is awesome too. Give this place some support and give it a thumbs up. I know great food, and this is beyond exceptional. 🤗
I grew up in Baton Rouge, and this place is legit southern food. We had shrimp and catfish poboys, red beans and rice, and macaroni and cheese and it was all fantastic. Highly recommend if you want some authentic southern food.
Catfish basket is really good as well as the fried pork chops. We had the rice & beans and Mac n cheese. Each side was great. Great service as well. Really authentic soul food
Wonderful place to go. Love the atmosphere and the chicken fried steak was good. There is still more I would like to try so I will be going back. Thank you M&M for a great experience
