I've been here twice, and both times, the food has been excellent. First time was just for an appetizer. Had the calamari. They serve it with a cilantro sauce. I thought it was a refreshing change from the deep fried method most other places use. It tasted fantastic. The second time, I went back thinking I was going to get the calamari again, but the waitress said it was Taco Tuesday, and they offer a all you can eat tacos for $9.99, so I changed my mind and decided to have tacos. I got one chicken, one steak and one pork. The first plate comes with beans and rice. The tacos were some of the best I've ever had. They were PACKED full of meat and the homemade corn tortillas were perfectly crispy. I could only eat the three tacos, but for someone with a big appetite, Taco Tuesday is for you! Great restaurant and good atmosphere.
We went some place else last night and paid way too much for way too little food and poor service. This place is comfortable, good service, great food. Exactly what we were looking for. Prices are good, too.

Great food, chill place. This restaurant has the best atmosphere with the best food. I loved the low music and just drinking some margaritas with the girls! It's right in the heart of Sparks, so it can be a pretty happening place, depending on the day.
A perfect place for food and family.. Cantina was so enjoyable. We brought the family for a nice meal out and were treated to great tasting food for a low price. The kids liked it to. They keep bugging us to go back there.
The atmosphere was very family friendly. Cantina is inviting and the music is soft. We can act like the weird family we are out in public. It was great!
Simply the best Mexican food I have experienced. Moreover, the sizable portions are so reasonably priced it also constitutes one of the best dining out bargains available. A single combination plate of three enchiladas, black beans and rice is more than sufficient to satisfy my wife and me. The service is friendly and cheerful, the atmosphere pleasant and the beer selection exceptional!

We literally devoured it with in seconds. My friend loves Micheladas and this was the best michelada he has ever had and he tries them every place we go. This is his number one choice for Micheladas Nacho the bartender came out and even gave us his secret ingredient which we can not wait to go home and try!!
Came to Reno wanting something good to eat, didn't quite make it all the way into Reno. Cantina is so tasty! Margaritas were great tasting (one jalapeno and one melon.) Service was quick, efficient, and friendly. Hit all the boxes!
Good Mexican restaurant near the Nugget in Sparks. We were able to walk there in 10 minutes. Portions are fair, food is tasty and the service was excellent.
I've just ordered through, Doordash and I am thoroughly delighted! Everything tastes FANTASTIC. The surprise addition of the chips & salsa, along with an ice cold lemonade - ties the whole meal together and was greatly appreciated. I've had over 30 deliveries this year and this is my favorite!
