Every restaurant has something that they're really good at and some things they're not. Taste is a subjective matter. This place does mostly everything good, so mostly everything good equates to a good dining experience. Will be back!

The food, service, view and margaritas we're SO good and the best salsa that I've ever had (so good that I bought some to bring home) I have NO negative comments about this place, glad it's near the campground that we're staying in.

If you love tacos and huge margaritas, this is the place for you! Nestled at the end of the Causeway, you’ll find a classic location that has been around for years with many past restaurants in this building. El Kamino Bay puts their own vibe into the atmosphere to make for a great time. I recommend getting the Asada Street Tacos. Very tender pieces of grilled steak served on delightfully soft corn tortillas with traditional cilantro and onions. To drink, there are plenty of options for margaritas. We asked for a Spicy Margarita, but it did not seem to be a menu option. However, they made their own recipe from scratch, that included fresh jalapeños in the drink. Amazingly good! We got the large size, so be prepared to stay a while until you can finish this mega sized drink. Definitely will be back here soon!

When this restaurant gets it right they get it right but when they miss they miss big. Service was almost non existent. The lights in the area we sat in must not have worked because we basically ate in the dark once the sun went down. They must make their chips themselves because some of the chips tasted like they were cooked in old, rancid grease while others tasted fine. Entrees were either mediocre or good. We decided to go here on reviews but were sadly disappointed. We had to ask for water because none were brought to the table while seated. The best thing I can say about this restaurant is they make good cocktails. Never again we will make this mistake again. The place looked like a dump of a restaurant. I definitely can't understand the people that rate this restaurant 5 stars.

Fast and friendly service, well prepared food, and a nice facility. I didn't expect too much from the outside, but I was fooled.
Fairly normal TexMex fair, but very well done with obvious care. The salsa was notable and the steak in my chimichanga was tender and well seasoned. I'll be back

We had early dinner the other day, and had a wonderful time! Margarita’s were tasty, we had a medium and it came in a quart jar!!! The entrees are / feel / taste upscale. I had a dish that was a filleted chicken breast covered in pico and cheese. It came with beans and rice. Great meal! The wait staff were attentive and checked on us often!!

Great place to eat! The owner is fantastic and it’s honestly the best Mexican in the Bay Area if not the state. The margaritas where in point and the prices are very reasonable. I’ll definitely be going back! Also the atmosphere is great and it seems like a good place to watch some volleyball in their sand pit. The guacamole was outstanding and it’s home made. The salsa tasted fresh and the chips came out still hot. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and vibrant atmosphere!

Beautiful view and great atmosphere. Food was fresh but didn't really separate itself from any other average Mexican restaurant. I enjoyed the service and didn't have any complaints.
