The food is good, albeit pricey. Between my husband and I, we tried the goat cheese fritters (amazing-definitely order them), plum salad (just okay-I'd skip), gnocchi, tomato soup, lobster & grits, and skillet cookie (all of which were pretty good). The service is really friendly, and I would go back, if only for those fritters!

This place is absolutely amazing. Everything is fresh and made in house. Awesome drink selection, best sausages you will ever have! Carter is a true master at his craft and it shines here! Great location with plenty of parking within walking distance. There is a lovely patio to enjoy food and drinks.

The chef here is amazing. He even came to our table to discuss options for me with my food allergies. The atmosphere is just perfect. Make a reservation for this popular restaurant, you won't be disappointed at all. Thursday is taco night, and the signature drinks are a must. They will even make a virgin drink if you ask.

AMAZING!! Check the website for updates, but they’re actually open 2 days a week! They’re serving a prixe fix menu that changes weekly. We were BLOWN AWAY at how delicious and fresh the food was. Everything is made from scratch, and the whole place was run by only 1 waitress, 1 bartender, and 1 chef, yet we received more attention than we do at much more heavily-staffed restaurants. They did an incredible job. Would definitely recommend, so worth the 20-so minute drive from Bar Harbor!

This place is nothing short of mind blowing. It's one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. Period. The goat cheese fritters were out of this world. The tempura on the buffalo cauliflower added a nice crunch but was light enough to not overpower. My Italian brother-in-law described the lobster pasta as one of the best pastas he's ever had. The sausage plate included a variety of styles and all 3 were on point. Lobster grits were stellar. And we finished with a cheesecake that did not disappoint. Additionally, the staff responded to a power outage mid-meal as if they experienced one monthly; we were shocked to learn that had never happened before. Our food came out on schedule and with no impact to quality. Combine all of this with a robust local draught list and a price point that can't be matched. It would be a mistake for anyone on Mt. Desert Island to miss this place.

This place is great. My wife and I ate here twice and we had excellent meals both times, and the prices are reasonable for what you get. Really creative cooking. Everything tasted really fresh. We were really surprised to find such excellent food in a tourist area.

Taco Thursday was wonderful. The fry bread shell was yummy and the shrimp and home made salsa delicious. I also got the lobster grits which were creamy and delicious. Very satisfying meal. Would recommend!

Every dish and cocktail was artfully prepared and uniquely delicious. The waitstaff was very amicable and met all of our needs. We had goat cheese fritters, local oysters with chili sauce, the soup of the day (lentil!) and scallops and sausage for our main dishes. Don't hesitate to stop here!

Very helpful staff. We enjoyed the crab cakes, goat cheese fritters, scallops, and duck breast, which were all very well prepared and presented. The room itself is nothing special but the food makes up for it.

Coda has an excellent menu offering a variety of dishes for sharing. We even had them cater our rehearsal dinner! The chef, Carter, does an incredible job. Great atmosphere and excellent service.

After a grand afternoon of renting ebikes from next door we sat outside and had wonderful, delicious food. Very friendly chef and staff were very careful about COVID precautions and eating outside was fun. Our table was heated by a firepit which was nice as the evening cooled. We loved the food and plan to be back soon and again and again. Thank you, Coda.

Very good, trendy place in SW Harbor, ME. Small plates and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The wedge salad is recommended along with the hangar steak, lobster and grits, and crab cakes. Enjoy!

The food was amazing. I was with a group of 6 adults, so we ordered most of the menu and it was all delicious. Service was on point and atmosphere perfect.

Luckily made reservations on a live music night and it was such a fun experience! Local band Blake Rosso played some covers and their own songs and they were very good. Half the restaurant was up and dancing! Halibut with local greens and lobster with grits was awesome. Btw the bill was not as ridiculous as most places we've been to on MDI. Absolutely go to this restaurant (make a reservation).

Nice place, great local beer selection and the food is delicious. Portions are more like appetizers so if you've been out hiking all day and worked up an appetite, plan to order 2.
