Super cute spot! We got in and seated quickly, staff was very nice. Our server Olivia was incredible. Great food (amazing veggie options). We got black bean and corn empanadas plus fried green tomato (and shrimp) as appetizers. They were super accommodating for me being vegetarian and separated everything. I got the vegan masala dish with chickpeas, lots of veggies, and jasmine rice. I was so impressed. Really loved it here! Thank you!
I cannot emphasize enough the fact that our server Brittany was on absolutely point and spectacular. Personable, attentive, and receptive to all of our needs. Additionally, her peers that helped serve our table were equally attentive and kind to our folks.
The building was previously a museum so the interior is a lovely, quiet atmosphere with interesting and eyecatching architecture.
We ordered the soup of the day (seafood eggdrop soup), as well as the mussels as appetizers. Both were flavorful and great.
The entrees were decent, but I have to admit that some of the dishes our table received were on the bland side at the end of the day.
Even so, this is a restaurant I would return to so I could give their other dishes a try to see if they could become members of the clean plate club.
Could be one of the best local cocktail bars around. The bartender was very knowledgeable and knew how to make the perfect drink of choice. Food has always been on point. Reservations are highly recommended but first come first serve at the bar

Absolutely amazing food all homemade and fresh caught. Unfortunately they were out of oysters and cod when we were there, but they still had cod fritters. Lunch menu was extensive and delicious and food came out quickly.
Everything was amazing and we had such great service from our server, Olivia! We will definitely be returning.
We both had the grouper - one pan seared and one crispy fried. This is the place where the Katie and Josh from Sea Haven had dinner - Table 9. I like the ambiance of the restaurant which is anti-tourist, quiet, romantic, and right on the downtown strip. The menu is a little strange for coastal NC with several curry dishes and no chicken option. Recommend reading the menu before being seated. The prices are upscale but the service is not. There seemed to be a lot of newbies recently hired that did not know the menu or have any expertise in describing how the food would be prepared. For $40 to $50 a plate, I would like some explanation of why they think it is worth that. Food was good but I have had better for 1/3 the price in my home state of FL.
I really love this place! Always a blessing to go there! We come every year from Canada! The food is Always Amazing!! & the service is great! Friendly staff! Thank u!!
Made reservations for our Wedding Anniversary and had a wonderful experience! We had seafood chowder as an appetizer… delicious. Our entree’s were Salmon and Filet…. Both were prepared to perfection! Unfortunately we didn’t save room for dessert, but I have no doubt that it would have been wonderful, as well! Highly recommended! :)
Nice restaurant. Disappointed in a few things but will return when in Southport. Brunch menu specials all sounded great but didn’t deliver. Old bay Bloody Mary good as well as mimosas. Shared avocado toast was mushy but ok. Not much avocado, bacon, or tomatoes. Crab Benedict and crab cake sandwich were disappointing. Heavily breaded crab . Chicken and waffles ok. Biggest issue was food was served cold throughout. We sent coffees back because they were served cold, redelivered cold again. Nice to have live music. Please try harder. Nice place.
This was a lovely little restaurant in Southport. The drinks were a bit expensive but they were in fact strong. Service was friendly and quick. I had the seafood curry salad and my friend had the short rib. Both were excellent. Overall, the restaurant was a great find, just a bit overpriced.
