Ideal Tavern

Stopped in yesterday for dinner, we sat outside. The service, drinks and the food were amazing! Our waiter was also so kind and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. There were a lot of vegetarian and gluten free options. The waiter also used liquid nitrogen to chill a glass for a beer. Very cool place! The cocktails were great! I had a tequila sunrise, if you like jalepeño with your tequila, this drink is for you! And they have these cool CBD floaters to add to drinks. It might be our new favorite spot! If I could give more stars, I would!

My boyfriend and I went to Ideal for brunch ordered the calamari; which I highly recommend for an app, when the waiter took our small plates my boyfriend had left his fork on it so when our main dish came out he didn’t have anything to eat with; he had toast, eggs bacon and potatoes. As all men do he proceeds to eat with his hands as most of it was handheld food, when the waiter came back most of it was gone and profusely apologized and brought him a fork for the remaining food. Not to long after the manager had come out and apologized as well as paid for the dish and gave us a $25 gift card for the future. The small incident would not have detoured us from going back and we would of fully paid the tab and excepted their apology as is. This restaurant goes above and beyond not only with the food that is served but customer care as well!
