Enjoyed my lunch here. Miso soup is really good. Googled Japanese restaurant near me when I happened to be in the area and was happy i came to Higashi! Would definitely come back.

We were very impressed with this place! We ordered beef with broccoli, spring rolls, chicken pad Thai and California rolls. Everything looked, smelled and tasted delicious- very clean tasting! Higashi is open again for in-person dining! We missed eating here so much, and we enjoyed our recent meal immensely. The food is just as good as ever. We often like to order a selection of appetizers for variety. Our favorites are the sushi, California rolls, gyoza, edamame, tempura, shrimp shumai.

Ordered Shrimp & salmon terrayaki combo dinner, shrimp re-fried is over fried, hard like a rock...5 pieces of small salmon for $20.95? If you gotta ask people pay that price, give people some decent food portions. The only good portion they give is they give you lots of vitamin C.

We were excited to try Higashi based on all the strong positive reviews. When my husband brought the food home, I was looking forward to the tempting smells and wonderful flavors. Everything was amazing. The service, sushi and drinks were all top-notch. We sat at the sushi bar and it was amazing watching the skills of the sushi chefs. 10/10 recommend

Higanshi sushi Was really good before. Now they don't know how to cook the sushi rice. Very very sticky sushi rice. Last night 8pm I got sushi beginner , roll combo and spicy roll combo. Oh my god soooo bad don't even ask. I just throw out everything. And I called next day(today)to refund my money.

If you want fresh food, this is the place to go! The manager is very courteous and wants to make sure you are happy. The dining room has been closed since the pandemic started, but we still go and take the food home…The dining room has reopened!!!!
