Some hits and missed. But more misses.
The place was packed with Koreans so that should mean good authentic Korean food. Maybe.
The seafood pancake was sad. The menu said lots of shrimp and seafood. More like the opposite. There was barely any seafood in the pancake. If you told me it was a vegetarian Scallion pancake, I would have believed you.
The banchon or side dishes were good but they were stingy with portions. We asked for more considering we were a large group but the refill was very small.
The entrees were good. The seafood tofu soup hit the spot. But be warned..it is scalding hot! Don't burn your mouth!!
Overall, if you care korean food this place would hit the spot. They also offer sushi as well.

Authentic Korean fare with Japanese options as well. They do K-BBQ too. Interior is a bit old, but felt cozy. If there are lots of people doing the K-BBQ, there may be a lot of smoke in the air, which was a little bothersome. Perhaps they have improved the ventilation sine my visit. Will come again though!

Family owned restaurant, amazing flavors in all the dishes. Ordered the seafood scallion pancakes, and they were hella crispy, till the time we left. Banchan is really good and keeps on getting refilled too.(that seems to be a Korean practise, wish I knew this earlier ) Kimchi stands apart here, the waitress was very kind enough that I could purchase Kimchi for savoring it later too. Ordered the shredded beef and scallion soup, and that was flavorful too.

Authenticate Korean food! Recommend the seafood pancake, very crispy and tasty. They give us 8 snacks before the meal, which are a lot comparing to other Korean restaurants.

In the empty restaurant our table was next to filthy boxes full of clutter and dirty walls, dragon roll and the volcano roll was cut in 4 huge pieces imposible to eat. Extremely rude men at the door and waitress. Really poor service.Food was edible but super expensive . Really bad experience we don’t recommend at all

I have come to this restaurant before and enjoyed the food, did not pay much attention to the service, but I could feel something odd throughout my time. This evening this was more apparent. The service was not on par with how a restaurant charging such high prices should act as. First, we were not greeted and waited a while to place our order, catching the servers throwing stares at us. A friend asked for a straw, one of the servers, an older lady, didn’t even want to hear her out and said they don’t have it. She asked another server and they gave her one. Simple questions they would try to evade. Throughout our meal, we were not asked if everything was okay nor visited, given water refills, etc. for the BBQ portion, of course someone would come to have the coals on fire, but would leave, we took care of it, only when our other meat portion came. This is fine, maybe it was busy hour. Our checks came and we paid, someone else took our cards to make the payment. I go leave to the bathroom and I come back to an older man saying we can’t pay the tip we left because it’s not enough for all they did. You’re supposed to pay for the service you’re given, if it’s not enough, you choose to pay how much or nothing at all. It is not forced law. The man said would not let us leave until we did so. This was extremely uncomfortable because we all paid individual and it was according to what we felt the service was. This treatment definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. The food was good, but I’m sure you can find equal if not better elsewhere - with a much better customer service. I don’t think I will be coming here. I’m spending a lot of money dining and trying to enjoy my time and it’s not worth it if I will feel they way I did. I’m giving this three stars solely because I enjoyed the food, but ultimately you’re also coming to have a good restaurant experience and sadly, after reading the other reviews, the bad service looks like a pattern here.

Good portions and quality. Service is just ok. Best side dishes I've had in NJ so far. Great value Lunch menu. Food from Regular/dinner menu is a bit higher price than other Korean restaurants but good quality makes up for the higher price.

terrible waitress, walked in and got seated. ordered our food and that’s it, wasn’t asked if the food was alright, lady never came out to us to see how everything was. we were the only customers on one side and they couldn’t even attend to us. when the lady asked us if we were all done she gave us this face with so much attitude. had a bad vibe since the moment i got there. barely any service and they still expect tips, i gave 5% tip and she asked why. i told her we barely got any service and she got mad and walked away. she said she brought the plates to the table but that’s just the way it is, i could have gotten it from the cook if she really thinks that’s $6 worth of tip. was told to not come back. they expect to get a good tip with no service. i work hard for my money, why should i give it away if i don’t receive the service we should get. also very pricey, would not come back here again.
