Loved our stop in for drinks and an app at Coconut Jacks. Because we are traveling during off season we had no waits and no crowd anywhere. Staff and atmosphere are top notch. We enjoyed a variety of cocktails, shots and ice cold beers while stopping in to Coconut Jacks. Also enjoyed an order of chicken macho nachos (unfortunately forgot to snap a photo). And although the nachos would be considered “basic” we still LOVED them- they were fresh, flavorful, delicious chips and great toppings.
What a cool little place on the bay side. Great for sun sets. Food was good, no complaints. Service was excellent. Get here early for happy hour specials.

Beautiful spot for a sunset dinner. I personally like the, "order at the counter" service and found all the workers to be friendly and knowledgeable. The food was good but I could've done with some kind of sauce on my jerk chicken sandwich which was otherwise a little dry. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and I would give five stars but the food came out on, "island time" meaning that some food came out much quicker than others. Again, this may be because we placed three orders at the counter, one after the other, rather than one big order. Absolutely not a deal breaker but definitely an area for improvement. I would definitely go again!
Great food, service and views. The tacos were on point. Highly recommend the fish or shrimp or fajita tacos. Came back a few days later because it had more of a local feel, very laid back. We experienced another great round of food with a Chipotle Patty Melt and Happy Hour Burger with hand cut fries. Live music topped it off. Very happy with our experience there.
Seriously this place is such a gem! It’s looking over the ocean and the food was all made fresh. Best nachos I’ve had in years! Next time I definitely want to ride one of the jet skis or go one of their boat rentals. But this time the food and the view alone earned 5 stars from me. Oh yea they had some awesome live music too.
Our first time in South Padre, we came across Coconut Jack's. There was no one there. I don't know maybe because it was a Monday? All I do know is that the food was so good. Coconut Shrimp, Fried Fish, Salmon burger and regular burger. The salmon was moist. The shrimp were big and each one with side of fries. This the first time my husband didn't complain there were not enough fries. lol. Abe was polite and accommodating. We would definitely go again and do recommend it. Oh and the view of the Sunset was spectacular. Thank you Abe for making our first day an enjoyable one.

Great location for a sunset cocktail and dinner! Ordered their signature cocktail and jerk bacon wrapped shrimp. Both were delicious! Their patio is perfect for watching the sun go down.
Had drinks and enjoyed the view. Easton was a wonderful bartender, very nice, attentive and friendly.
