The best place to hang out in south milwaukee. Watch a match, grab a pint, play trivia or just talk with James! This is a great place!!!

Whenever I fly home from NYC, I stop in for a pint or two. There's always football on the telly and always a friendly "hello" from the owner, James Moran!

South Milwaukee has a reputation for having a bar on every corner. Even if it were true, no South Milwaukee bar can compare to Moran's Pub. Once inside, you can sense the history and appreciate the classic Irish culture. The owner is a real futball fan and will open the pub early to accommodate other local soccer fans. Moran's is a gem and a well kept secret.
This is the only pub I will go to in South Milwaukee. The owner is a gentleman and you can see the pride in his culture. Very clean and friendly staff.
Great people, environment and you can't ask for nicer staff/owner. Recommend to everybody. If you don't return it must be because you're out of town.

Moran’s is a great place!! So nice and everyone is so friendly. James the owner is great. Always checking on you to make sure you are having a good time. Love how he’s so invested in our community and our soccer program.
Hands down the best old fashioned I've ever had. As well as other drinks like the side car and his special Cassidy Collins Love this place, will for sure be back.
I had a great night! Emma was very quick service and it was fun talking to her. Never a weak pour and I had a great time watching the game.
Nice relaxed atmosphere, the owner is a very cool guy, really enjoyed visiting. Nice selection of drinks and a very well kept decor.

Also, some stooge on here gave Morans a one star review and mentioned credit cards aren't accepted, which is wrong haha

My son and I had a great time at Moran’s last night. We flew in from Canada for a Packers game and found Moran’s not far from where we were staying. The owner, James, was bartending and he made us feel like regulars. Great ambiance, and the exposed brick walls brought out the character of the place. Lots of good conversation and an excellent recommendation on a local beer that was one of the best I’d had in a long time. Memorable first night in Milwaukee and heading back to Moran’s on the next visit through. Thanks, James.
Moran’s Pub is one of my favorite places to go in the state of Wisconsin. They have the best Guinness in the state, great cocktails (I love the Moran’s Mule), awesome live sports and amazing music.
James has done a fantastic job making Moran’s Pub what it is today. The staff (especially James), are incredibly kind and outgoing and treat every customer like family. I love going Sunday mornings at 9:00am to watch a Manchester United game or Friday nights for the fish fry, the food truck is always great and affordable. The pub recently has undergone a makeover and it looks fantastic inside and out.
I’ve made some amazing memories at Moran’s Pub and I look forward to many more in the future.
