Java House

The Java House Café was so much more than I expected. The modern design fooled me as I entered the business. The inside is all open and inviting. I was drawn right away to the amazing homemade items that lined the left side of the café. Crochet bags/purses, animals, stoneware and jewelry. I just loved the attractive and cozy area by the fireplace to relax and enjoy! Oh and the coffee and lunch were perfect. I enjoyed a Mocha Latte and the broccoli cheese soup with a side of bread for lunch. A great choice for this chilly fall day here in Michigan. There is plenty of parking and outdoor seating area too. The prices are reasonable for this kind of café. The friendly and engaging staff is wonderful and charming to chat with. Stop in and relax, you will enjoy the company and yoyr surroundings.

Super duper delicious and awesome spot! So happy I found them! Their menu is super robust and filled with fantastic options. The atmosphere is open and airy. They kept it clean, wiping down tables and felt super comfortable. Plus, they came by with a complimentary coffee that they made, asked if we would like it, instead of tossing it. How thoughtful! I appreciate that in customer service. I'll definitely be back and become a regular here! The food and drinks I ordered were also very delicious, made well and the quality of food product was really good! It went above my expectations. If you're ever in South Lyon and want a relaxing spot to spend time with a loved one over a light meal and drinks or just to work. This is it! Their wifi is FAST too! Major Plus!!!!

Great coffee shop. Awesome menu selection. Smells great of course. I got a frozen coffee shake. I can't remember what they call them there, but it was delicious. Plenty of seating inside. Even a fireplace area if I remember correctly. Cool little local crafters section with items for sale. It's great to see the support for the community. It looked like they also have an open mic night or something about to happen. Cool coffee shop. I would recommend!

Excellent coffee/espresso drink menu, light fare food, also shakes and ice cream. Then they sell & grind beans by the pound- the good stuff like Costs Rican, Kenya AA, ext. Gift shop with hand craft stuff as well,. Best of all - owners are Christ believers so they post scripture on a chalkboard, play christian rock on musac system- very peaceful vibe .
