The breakfast burrito was delicious. I got the chorizo. Damn good! This is a small little place in strip mall. Service was good. Will need to try the burgers someday.

The fries are really good. My kid loved them and so did I. Exactly what I was hoping for. Got chicken fingers and it came with a small fries: perfect portion size--I was able to snag a few fries without him lacking, and there weren't so many that we felt overwhelmed either. I would rate these best fries in Tahoe, honestly.
I want to add, the service was very good. The server paid close attention to what I was saying and responded graciously without expectations from me, even though I only ordered a small meal. I am very happy to have these good people around my hometown.
One of the best burgers I've had in South Lake Tahoe. Definitely gonna be my go to when I want a burger in this area.

Small hole in the wall place with classic American and Mexican casual food. I had the chili cheese fries and enjoyed the homemade chili lathered onto the extra crispy fries I requested. Yum. It tasted even better with their spicy salsas 😋

The food was good, nothing too special about the burgers, as they were standard fried burgers. The toppings, special sauce, and brioche bun were what gave it flavor.
The jalapeno cheese fries though, are amazing! Would definitely recommend an order of those.
Milkshakes are pretty good as well, and everything is fairly priced for it being the lake Tahoe area.
Stopped with the family for a quick bite after hiking Mount Tallac. All the food was SO good! Got burgers, tacos, fries, and milkshakes and everything hit the spot. Would absolutely come again.
Pricing - excellent. Tahoe is expensive, but this place is a good value regardless. $7.50 for a double burger, $5.50 for a breakfast burrito.
Food - Very good. Burgers were juicy and Patty hand formed. Breakfast burrito (chorizo) special was great as well. Buffalo chicken sandwich was crispy and tasty.
Service - People were very friendly and welcoming.
Burger connoisseur here - my hubs and I have tried many burger joints here in South Tahoe and so far, Chico's is our favorite. We are frequenters! If you like classic burgers and sides, check out this place. What we love is how quality the beef is (from Overland) and the french fries and onion rings!

Cali burrito - 2/5. I've only tried this once, it was too beany for my liking
Carne Asada fries - 5/5. I like that shredded cheese is used, not nacho cheese. Portion is huge, so this is enough to be an entree or shareable
The folks that work here are super friendly. Good food and good service!
