Very very good ribs and links, tender tips excellent sauce,links real not mushy .

First time visiting Kirk's Bbq. First let me say soon as we turned towards the restaurant we could smell the amazing aroma. We were excited. The staff was friendly. We ordered 2 Large Tips & 1 turkey link sandwich & 1 pork link sandwich. We walked in and ordered. We were told 45 mins to an hr wait. It was no problem for us. They ask you to wait in your car and they call you when the food is ready. When we went back to pick up the food there were like 12 ppl in line. We didn't have to wait. We just walked up got our food and left. I was very happy when I saw they do not cheat you with the portion size like most BBQ places. The large tip comes w/ fries & wheat bread. You can buy a small thing of coleslaw for $0.50. I wasnt a fan of the coleslaw. They give you a lot of sauce. The meat is seasoned very good. We liked the turkey link better than the pork link. The ribs were very good and can stand alone without the sauce. Next time I will ask for no sauce and add our own Blues Hog sauce from home. Overall we were very happy with our experience and this will be our go to place. It is definitely worth trying. Just understand it may be a little wait but it's worth it. Added bonus they do take credit or debit w/ id. Some places only take cash. This was yet another bonus. The pics don't do it justice.

Food was good we ordered turkey tips and rib tips. Turkey tips were decent nice size two people perhaps three can share however not as good as Wiley’s in Chicago on the west side. The rib tips on the other hand were meaty,tasty, and compete against the best in the city. Again service slow and u will have to wait a bit, plenty of bbq sauce,fries at the bottom soaking up all the sauce just delicious.
