We love stopping at this jewel. Family ran home cooking that will knock your socks off. We do a lot of motorcycle rides up that way, and my stomach makes me stop each time. This place has the BEST brisket I have ever consumed. I poked it with my plastic fork and it just fell right apart, it was...an experience.

Sustains: Hushpuppies were amazing, not too dry and perfectly crispy on the outside. The mac and cheese was great, traditionally made.
Improves: Baked beans were alright, but a little too sweet. The brisket had a great flavor to it, but the cut was on the fattier side.

The large plate is enough for one person, now and later. The baked beans and macaroni and cheese are delicious. The BBQ is tasty and tender, and even better with their vinegar sauce.
The food is wonderful, especially the beef brisket, hushpuppies, and homemade desserts. It's probably the friendliest staff I've ever met, and they were very helpful with explaining the different items on the menu. The prices are so reasonable. This is now our favorite BBQ spot.
