Review Parthenon Restaurant - South Hadley

I love this place so much! I've been coming here for over 2 years consistently, and have never been disappointed. The staff is sweet too. My favorites are the pizza, and the chicken parm and eggplant parm subs. I especially love the pizza with white sauce and top it with crispy eggplant, crispy chicken, and feta. Try it! All pizzas are 20% off on Sundays and Tuesdays.

Tina, our server, was so fantastic and very friendly. We were visiting the area and she gave lots of great tips! Our food was great and my plate was completely empty by the end! Highly recommend!!

Got into town late dropping my daughter off for college. The service was excellent and so was the food. The food was fresh and delicious! We will definitely be back.

What a wonderful place. Stopped in to grab some quick sandwiches to go. We were greeted by the friendliest woman who was happy to chat while we waited. Steered us to delicious food. The baklava is fantastic (and I usually think baklava too sweet). The quesadilla more more like a pressed pita panini but it was delicious. So fresh. Fries to kill for.

Everyone is so cheerful, nice and friendly. When you walk in and they seat you, if you ask them if you can sit in a booth, they'll bring you to a booth and ask if this one is ok. As for the menu, I don't remember if they have a kids menu. They don't have a section of what drinks they have, I can't have soda so it would be nice if they had a better selection because the only cold drinks they have (non alcohol) is lemonade and unsweetened ice tea. It should be sweet like me lol For my dinner I had chicken parmesan with ziti. It was a good portion but the chicken parm was really thin. I wish it was nice and thick. It comes with a soup or salad. I decided to have soup this time. I never heard of a meatball soup before so I figured I'd try something different and even though I don't like soup, it was amazing and so delicious they should have it more often. I also had garlic bread with cheese on it. That was delicious too even though I had to pay $2.49 more for the extra cheese and some of the bread didn't have anything on it, it was still worth it. The prices are fair and it's a really nice place to go to relax and have a delicious meal 😁 👍♥️

Surprised at the negative reviews, the service is good and for this type of restaurant, the food is quite good as well. Eggplant parmesan is very good, greek salads were good, and the chicken souvlaki also very tasty. The ambiance is definitely kitschy, but it's part of the experience

My Husband and I order from here all the time, the food is excellent! They have the best Greek salad around and the dinners are always hot and delicious. One thing that we love about the Parthenon is that they are always consistent no matter what and I appreciate that especially after working all day and looking forward to a great dinner. I definitely recommend everything on the menu, you will not be disappointed. Thank you to the Parthenon for consistently great food and great customer service, we appreciate you!

I was totally shocked by the large portions for the affordable prices. My dad and I went to Parthenon randomly for lunch and it was such a great decision. This is the most authentic Greek restaurant I have been to in Massachusetts! The food was fresh and we felt super safe eating inside since the restaurant owners were abiding by COVID-19 regulations and safety protocols. We are definitely going back. I mean look at how great the food looks? 10/10 would recommend. Also, support local businesses!

5 Stars b/c it's a fine local restaurant, not "fancy" or haute cuisine 🙂, but w/delicious & healthy options. Always friendly service, fresh salads, varied beverage choices (including Retsina wine), & quick takeout or booth sitting. My personal favorites are the baked dishes, pizza & veggie grinder (w/extra cheese as a good to-go meal--I add fries sometimes). One suggestion I have would be a choice of bread for 12" grinders -- whole wheat or mixed grains. They have gluten-free dishes, which a friend of mine likes. This is a solid local eatery that's been around since Dimitris Pananas opened in 1994! If you haven't tried Parthenon or been for a while, I think you'll like it. 'Kalí óreksi!' (Bon Appétit!)

I have passed the Parthenon many times and never suspected how beautiful it is inside, but I recently had some business to transact across the street, so I figured I'd check it out. I really liked everything I experienced! The prices for the specials were excellent. I ordered a glass of Merlot which came in a generous glass and was top shelf. I ordered the cheese ravioli, not expecting much, and it was AMAZING. The crowd there including the waitress was really entertaining, old school, and in my book that's a treat. I'm glad I went there and I will definitely return. I would describe the Parthenon as a "hidden gem". In another town, closer to Boston, they'd be charging a heck of a lot more money for the same product.
