Pizza King

I Doordashed, so I can attest to the place itself or the people. But I can tell you that the pizza and garlic bread were absolutely fantastic. This was my first time eating there (on recommendation) and I love it! I love how they chop up the topping into tiny, bacon bit sized, portions. It creates and even spread of toppings and ensures you get all the toppings on every bite. So, delicious!

Unfortunately, this pizza place is certainly not the "king" of pizza. After eating here once, I considered suing them for false advertising, but then I remembered the prohibitive cost of lawyers. Maybe I could get them as a pro-se litigant. In any event, their pizza isn't really worth describing but suffice it to say the reviews comparing it to frozen store-bought pizzas were a little too generous. It gets 2 stars for being edible and close to my apartment. I may go there again if someone buys me a gift card, though. Or if I was told I must either eat there or die.

Big let down. I don't know what they use as pepperoni, but it looked like bacon bits, and had absolutely no pepperoni flavor. We were willing to give them some allowances since we got there 45 minutes before they closed, but if they didn't have anything that was acceptable to give to customers then they should have been up front or offered a discount for subpar food. The bread sticks were stale and had no flavor. We were just passing through town, but if that is what we should expect from Pizza King then we won't go to any of their establishments again.
