Review Thyme Of Grace - South Bend

Thyme of Grace is an excellent place to have a very nice 4 course lunch. Michelle and Nicole are very friendly and knowledgeable about food and it's preparation and presentation. They make use of their home grown edible greens, herbs and flowers in all of their dishes that they serve. The appetizers are excellent with a concentration on flavor and presentation. The bacon wrapped dates are great. The soups a very flavorful with some unusual combinations,such as the superb mushroom and hazelnut soup. The main course ranges from unusual sandwiches to chicken salad with many variations each time you get it to quiches to many different salads. The deserts are truly decadent. The cheesecake is wonderful and different. The orange cheesecake with a cream sauce topping is great. It was made with fresh Clementine oranges. Even though they are only open from 11 to 2, plan on more than an hour for your meal. Thyme of Grace is truly an "Upscale Dining Experience". We will be back when in town.

Very good lite lunches with unique entrees and juice options along with excellent desserts. Small and quaint a definite must try. Be forewarned it's a cash place no credit cards. Really nice owners also. Only open for lunch and closed Sunday

Awesome unique lunch place. We live about 35 minutes away. Have been by here, and finally stopped in. So glad we did! Unique food, great service, fun motif. We'll be back!

The food is really fresh and the chef clearly takes pleasure in creating delicious dishes. I had the pepper bisque and a curry chicken salad, both of which were very tasty.The food is original and delicious! The mushroom soup is fabulous!! They have desserts that they make daily. We had a sampler if each of them. Amazing!

Michele and her staff were absolutely incredible catering two events for me. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Michele was easy to work with and provided great suggestions. Thanks for making everything so stress-free!

I can only echo other positive reviews for this restaurant: It is wonderful!! Unique, flavorful dishes - caring, attentive service. I live in Ohio, but every time I visit South Bend, I will be sure to have one or more meals at this sweet little restaurant. I'll also echo the reminder to bring cash or check. We're not used to that, but your meal will be worth the effort!

Love coming to this place. The Lemon tarts are awesome! Although you shouldnt try them because that means less lemon tarts for me :-) Thyme of Grace is always my family's first pick for special meals out. Have never had anything but great lunches. Service is great, too.

Great lunch spot!. The owner Michelle does a wonderful job! I usually lunch there about once a week. Try the mushroom soup, it's the best you'll ever have.
