Our waitress was friendly and helpful. This restaurant is on the lake which make for a beautiful backdrop. I ordered a salad that was suppose to made with Romaine Lettuce. It was served with iceberg. When I inquired I was told it was a mix. Well it was salad from a bag ... you know the kind with the weird after taste. I didn’t see romaine lettuce but I was hungry so I ate it. Not ok to list one this and serve another less desirable item. I asked for grilled chicken and that was really good. I had ice tea and had to ask for refills. I won’t be back.

Great steak burgers. Eating outside there can't be beat, great view of the river. Service was a tad slow but it was Sunday early dinner and we had a large group. The onion rings and sweet potato fries were the best I've had. A South Bend institution for a reason.

Food is always good. I feel like they should have pancakes and breakfast items. That's not a dig at them, you don't get it. You just don't.
But they make the world's greatest steak sandwich. Of all time.

WASTE OF MONEY. I’ve worked at multiple taverns/restaurants like this and oh my lord...they serve their food with chips. Not homemade house chips like any other pub, but literal bagged potato chips but want to charge you like you had French fries. Drinks are $2.55 and you get ONE free refill. Seems to me like the owner’s looking to make the most money with the tiniest amount of work and effort put into product. Really disappointed because this place inside is so cool!! But definitely NOT worth the prices and not so great food. Probably a great place for a drink only.

If at any point I would rate my experience here it would be -1000. Wait 15-25 minutes to even be served. Friends arrived and pulled table over to us and join, waitress gave snarky look and goes move that back now. Knowing very well we have been there waiting. Would never recommend your establishment to anyone after this experience.

Burger was not cooked properly. Atmosphere was ok. Waiter was ok. Was disappointed in the work staff smoke break area being in such a place that to get to the deck they were literally in the way of diners trying to enter.

I rarely write reviews. But I had to- go see Megan at the tiki bar on the lower patio. She is awesome and will make you a great cocktail while you relax and enjoy the breeze off the river!!! Good drink specials & quesadilla also!

Used to be a favorite hang out. Until they fired our favorite server, a hard working single Mom, by text message. Every person deserves respect. If you have someone that comes in to work, picks up extra shifts and regulars request her, why not try and work out problems or at the very least talk to her in person.
We are done. Incredibly disappointed in the Mgmt.

We would have loved to enjoy an evening outside by the river on Friday but our party of 8 was turned away by your hostess because, “we don’t usually allow parties that size on the deck during our busy time. We need to turn our tables around more quickly.”

Went for burgers and beer. Burgers were great! Lots of options if you want to build your own. Loved the fries-tasty and not over done. Service was good. Always had our drinks full and we were checked on regularly. Would go again for that good burger!
