Review Bistro 933 - South Bend

Thoroughly impressed by the food, service and atmosphere at Bistro 933. As part of the Hilton Garden Inn, I am always slightly skeptical of hotel-based restaurants however my concerns were quickly alleviated by the fun and welcoming atmosphere provided by the staff of Bistro 933. They had a nearly full house on a Wednesday evening and handled it in stride taking care of everyone both inside and outside. I was extremely pleased with my dinner special, a spiced chicken and fettuccine dish that was most definitely and unexpected delight. Will most definitely swing by next time I am in the area!

Delicious French onion soup!!! Warm and cheesy with crunchy onion crisps! Would HIGHLY recommend for people traveling to stop by! Waitress was super attentive and friendly!! Paper straws to my drink was a nice touch too ✍🏾✍🏾

Less than enthusiastic service. Bland food. We asked for a drinks menu and was told they didn't have one ("We have a full bar"). And then, they didn't have the drinks that I asked for. Should have passed. Definitely overpriced. Maybe this is good for Northern Indiana, but not for where I'm from. Positive: The house salad was good. The brussel sprouts were also good, said my date.

Service was friendly. Brussel sprouts with pork belly appetizer was wonderful. BBQ chicken sandwich came with french fried onions that were cold and greasy. Tofu with roast veggies came with cold veggies and "risotto" that seemed to be just flavorless grits.

Its a limited menu but every item is taken into consideration. Brussels sprouts as an appetizer had an amazing sauce. The steelhead trout was so well cooked.

The food was superb in taste, timeliness, presentation! Great for lunch and dinner. Our waitress Diana was less than stellar, extremely rude and crass. Needs to be fired or trained not to hang up the phone on customers nor make snarky remarks!

They didn’t offer us any other drinks. All they did was put water that tasted like plastic in front of us then leave. We legit had to ask if they had any other drinks. For my meal, I had the bbq chicken sandwich. The fries were amazing. However, the chicken was under cooked so it was really hard to chew. The mozzarella sticks didn’t even taste like mozzarella.Overall it wasn’t all that good and I hope to never go there again. I’m beyond disappointed.
