Such a wonderful anniversary dinner. Started with crispy potatoes which had such amazing crunch and flavor. Our waitress recommended the Braised short rib and it did not disappoint. So flavorful and tender! The root vegetables were seasoned to perfection! The prime skirt steak was cooked on point to medium rare and was so juicy and melted in my mouth. I would suggest making a reservation as we did, no wait at all and I was pleased with how fast and meticulous the service was. First visit and definitely will not be the last. Looking forward to stopping in again soon now that I know how delicious it is.
Another great dinner at The Hampton Social. We didn't get any dinners this time, just a bunch of appetizers to share. Each one was such a unique creation. The flavors when so well together. The beet salad was so fresh, and the combination of the tangerine with the beets was a great contrast. The grilled octopus was so tender with such a rich flavor. This dish is so hard to find, and even harder to find done properly. As always, the staff was professional and courteous, and the atmosphere makes me feel like I am on vacation! This is becoming a favorite spot for a good dinner!
Great food, decor, and fantastic service. Our waitress made great recommendations and checked in on us without being overbearing. Drinks have catchy names and they don't skimp on the alcohol. This was our second visit and each time the food and service were consistent.
I loved this location. My overall experience was great from start to finish.
I came for a birthday dinner and I got there a little early, so I sat at the bar. The bartenders treated me very well and always made sure I was okay.
When I moved to my reserved table, the server had such an amazing attitude. The shrimp tacos and calamari were awesome, including the drinks.Two people in our group had the steak, and just did not taste good at all and was tough. However, both the manager and server heard our concern and gave the best answer I've ever heard any restaurant say "we would rather you leave happy". They were very accommodating.
Lastly the decor was super cute! I'll definitely be back.
Every corner of this place was decorated so cute. Our server was awesome. For appetizer I had the oysters and octopus. My cousin had a fried chicken dish. The sauce that came under the octopus was so good, I was spooning it like soup at the end. For the main course I had a lobster roll, which is always a good choice, lol. I had a mezcal cocktail that was so Smokey and delicious. I’m a fan of this place.
Food was excellent. Lots of social distance space. Atmosphere can be summed up as an upperclass boating vacation. Menu options were just right for modern restaurants - not too much to choose from to get lost in, and the choices you have are prepared very well. Average spend is 30+ per person.

The Hampton Social, located at the corner of Arboretum of South Barrington, is a happening place. Our experience was good and below are some tips to know before you go here:
Things to know about the restaurant
* This place gets very busy so recommend you make reservations online before going..
* They have indoor and outdoor dining area with plenty of tables.
* Outdoor dining is well covered and heated, so good even for winter.
* They have live music playing and the guy was good and entertaining.
* Staff was friendly but like other places, this place is also under staffed.
* All Covid protocols were followed. Staff were wearing masks and sanitizing tables between guests. Menu are online only and you can scan the QR code to get it.
* Bathrooms are very clean, but their soap dispenser is horrible. Only their staff could get the soap out after following some very unique hand movement.
Nows let's talk about the good stuff, the food:
* They have good variety of wine selections. They are known for Rose wines. All wines are imported.
* Roasted Brussel Sprouts were delicious. It comes with honey and blue cheese to give it sweet and sour taste. Brussel sprouts were nice and crunchy.
* Smash Burger comes with two smashed patties on egg bun. The burger was fine, but could have used some more condominium to make it flavorful. Burger comes with in-house made kettle chips, but you can substitute it for any other side for an up charge. The thin fries were not bad. You can also substitute the chips with Brussel sprouts for $9 up charge.
* Harvest Kale Salad was very fresh. Salad comes in large quantity and is very filling.
Overall, a good experience.
Food was fresh, well seasoned. Service was fast and decor was picture worthy.
