This pizza is AMAZING. I even ate it the next day, cold and it was still so delicious. Hot and fresh pizza is generally pretty good so a true test is cold, out of the fridge the next day. The crust is the perfect thickness to be satisfying, thick enough to hold the pizza that you can grab it and hold with 1 hand but thin enough that you're not eating all dough. The sauce is rich, flavourful and very garlicky. We got the Sausage and Broccoli Rabe pizza which was so so good. The broccoli rabe was a perfect pairing to the sausage, which was savoury and not too spicy and not too sweet. The Champlain pizza is a winner of the best pizza in central NJ, rightly so and don't let its simplicity fool you, it highlights the sauce, cheese and crust perfectly. You must try this place.

I live an hour+ away but had scouted out Prima Pizza Kitchen when coming in locally for a little league tourney. Got the drunken grandma and the Champlain based on recommendations from the Jersey Pizza Joints Facebook group. Two very different pies, both completely delicious. Wish I didn't live so far away.

Jerry and the team are very friendly. So many different pizzas to choose from. Must try pizzas: the Champlain (rated Central Jersey's #1), Eggplant marinara, upside down Sicilian, and anything with pepperoni (because they got the cups!)

The pizza was absolutely delicious. We got the Champlain, drunken Nonna, and pepperoni for the kids. They were all so different but all had great flavor. You can tell they use quality ingredients and I was so impressed at how crunchy it stayed even though we had take out.

Great pizza! Walk up counter service to order then they bring the food to the table. The guy working at night was great, kept checking in on us and making sure everything was out and correct. Will definitely order food from here again but take out, it was a bit warm in there with the ovens on. Ordered their Champlain and vodka margarita pizza, both were DELICIOUS!

This Is the 2nd time I’ve had pizza from here I decided to ask for my pizza to be made thin crust this time . Have to say it’s a pretty decent slice !! It could use a little more time in the oven to get the middle a little more time to crisp up. The crust itself was perfection with that nice bite . Taste wise it was decent a tad salty this time around but edible. It was a busy Rainy Friday so they were pretty busy about 30-40 minutes for an order. Staff if always friendly and prices are average but definitely worth trying .

The Drunken Grandma with meatball is FANTASTIC! Amazingly Talented Owner and Chef! Great Customer Service! Dining area is always super clean and well maintained. Always friendly and helpful staff!! Whether you pick up or get delivery through them, Prima Pizza Kitchen always hits it out of the park!!

Brought the family here to try the pizza and they did not disappoint! We had the regular Grandma and a side of garlic knots. Both were delicious and fresh. The guys behind the counter were super friendly. Can't wait to go back next weekend to try this Champlain everyone is raving about!

The linguini with seafood is the world's best - -it comes with a fresh house salad and for a bargain price, to boot! Great wings, too, and NJ's best Hawaiian pizza. Super friendly staff - - Frank serves pizza with passion.

Ordered the ziti meatball for nine dollars. Got one small burnt meatball. One regular sized one. Straight up boiled pasta with some watery Ragu straight out the jar. Didn't even add any garlic or anything. Got a chicken Caesar salad. Chicken was terribly dry. Ordered buffalo wings and got barbecue instead. Paid for extra blue cheese and Caesar dressing and didn't get it. Called up and they said the wing sauce was the only sauce they had and it wasn't barbecue. I said well it sure isn't buffalo because it is sweet. He said well my friend just don't call here any more. I told him he does not know how to cook Italian food and hung up the phone. I spent 45 dollars and I live right up the street. I have half a mind set on going up the street and telling this old man about himself.

I teach at a local public school and ordered pizza from Primas yesterday. The man who answered the phone was so friendly! The pizza was delivered quickly and they even sent over a free cheese pie! It was all so yummy and very much appreciated! When we order from other local restaurants, the service is usually slow, they always forget something and are sometimes rude. We love Primas and will be ordering from them a lot from now on!
