Hands down the best brisket in the Boston area. Been going here for years and so glad they are still going strong despite the pandemic. Great craft beer on tap. Soul food sides and desserts too!

Absolutely the best BBQ and southern food around. The smoked brisket dinner is to die for. Sooooooooo tender and loaded with flavor. I opted for their sweet sauce, which isn't over the top sweet so it accompanied the brisket nicely. Their Louisiana style ribs are incredible as are the Mac and cheese, and collard greens. Anything you get here is top notch quality eating.

This is what you get for almost $100, the little pint of jerk beef is almost $30... And it's just good. 2 years ago we ordered for $200 and we could feed more than 15 people (catering menu) and we had leftovers!! That's ridiculous!!

The place looked like a dive and I was questioning the cleanliness of the kitchen, especially since I worked as a cook for 11 1/2 years, but I also know that you can keep food safe even in some bad environments. In any case I felt it was absolutely safe enough. I sat at the bar since restaurant waiters often disappear when you really need them. The bartender was on the phone for at least 10 minutes. Finally someone from the back came to take my order, but at that point I was on the verge of bolting. When he refused to process my order without getting my CC, I gave up and bolted.

Tough to actually judge a BBQ place that at 530 runs out of ribs, but tried the brisket which was good. The sides that accompany the meal are small, but also okay. The real issue that makes me not return is their policy on ice tea. At $5.00 a glass, I would expect a BBQ joint to offer at least one if not more refills. They don't, so this customer finds that policy greedy, and will choose not to return as a result. Too bad ,cause ribs and ice tea might have been my next purchase.

Whoa! Definitely the best BBQ in Boston. Actually better than what I was able to find in NYC recently. This is close to real southern-style food. The hot sauce is great. The only thing is the dirty rice could be dirtier. Haha. I ordered from Uber Eats and received plenty of food. My family said they've been here many times. I'll be coming back to try the cornbread and biscuits.

every time i order from here it’s either really good or really bad so it sucks not knowing if the food is gonna be good each time. also paid 1.50 for extra pickles one time and literally got none. the fries are usually either soggy or rock hard. but i’ll still give 3 stars cause sometimes it is really good.

We were recommends to Redbones by the owner of Twyrl Chris in Arlington, MA as we are new to the area. First off, we love the atmosphere and feeling of Redbones. Doug are server was extremely efficient managing nine tables. Any issues or concerns Doug was on top of it. Great service! I had the three meat combo of hash, fried chicken and sausage. I also had some amazing pulled pork without any fat. My sides were hand cut fries; crispy and not oily, and potato salad that had a nice acidity from the vinegar and sweetness from the relish. My wife the vegetarian had three sides; onion rings that had sweet onions, mashed to die for potatoes, Mac and cheese. My German beer in the large glass was easy to drink and came in a cool tall glass. For desert we had the Texas chocolate sheet cake that with fudge frosting and fresh whip cream. I can safely say that Redbones is well worth the wait if you want North Carolina smoked bbq.
