The best part about this place is how kind and helpful the staff is. Given that it was my first time there, I was specially assisted by a lovely staff member about the fresh pasta and the in-house sauces they do.
Their sandwiches taste divine. It does get really busy, and rightly so, but despite the wait, my grilled caprese sandwich was amazing! It was perfectly seasoned, the pesto was delicious and the portion size of the sandwich was generous and very filling. Moreover, as a vegetarian, I appreciated that there was an option to build your own sub if you didn't like any of their staple offerings. I was also told by one of the staff members that if any particular sub catches your fancy, you can always request to make it meatless. The prices are a little steep because it's not a big franchise store or supermarket but I think it's worth it! Would 100% recommend this place to grab lunch to go. Just be prepared to wait a little if you have not called ahead to place your order.

Dave's has the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. Call and order ahead to avoid a long wait at lunchtime. I haven't bought the fresh pasta, but they have great ingredients for a charcuterie board and a really good selection of wine too. Oh, and a freezer with Jeni's ice cream as well as some other small brands. Things here run a little pricey but the quality is great.

I love. Great foods, nice wine selection. I like their prepared raviolis. Once I did a cooking class which was informative and they give you a bunch of wine.
My only issue is that it’s tough to make it here on weekdays if you work and don’t plan ahead. They close well before I normally start cooking dinner.

We got the Prosciutto Fig (GET THIS ONE on Focaccia Hot) on a Ciabatta Roll and the Pesto Chicken on Focaccia! Both HOT!
We loved see the Proscuitto Fig, but it’s kind of like having kids. You don’t really have a favorite because they are all wonderful, but deep down there is one you’re leaning toward! And in this case it’s the Fig Sandy!! Really a unique Sandy because usually you see prosciutto on a charcuterie board with Fig or apricot spread, but this came in a sandwich form which is rare, but wonderful to see!
The Pesto Chicken is more of a slow burn type ... we saved a half for later and it aged well like a red wine! The juices/oils were able to soak into the focaccia bread marinating just right!!
Focaccia > Ciabatta Roll, both delicious, very crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside!!!

Awesome pasta, and awesome sandwiches. Can't go wrong with anything you can get here. Really need more local food stores like this. Fresh, fairly priced and delicious. Can't ask for much. Also the people who work here are wicked friendly and will make suggestions on stuff if you're overwhelmed by their insane pasta list. It's a little overwhelming but just means more stuff to try!
Photo is of one of their sandwiches - lamb one. They have a large selection to pick from and they're made fresh when you order. Very fast too, less than ten minutes to get one.

While standing in line to order a sandwich a man walked right in front of me and ordered even though I was next. But I got my sandwich before him! Did the cashier know? Was that her way of giving me justice? Not sure, but thank you. Excellent sandwiches and wine!

We experienced the Paninis and Pairings event. The Paninis were very good and so was the wine! The event staff was friendly and engaging. We recommend going to one the events. They served organic wine very delicious and no wine headache. I will definitely be drinking organic wine from now on!

The BEST lunch and dinner!!! A perfect solution for grabbing a quick bite to eat during lunch hour but realizing that you need dinner and that they as a speciality shop have anything and everything you could ever need or want for dinner. The cooking class experience could not have been better! Jason is great - funny, informative, and attentive to all of the attendees. The wine flows freely, the anecdotes make it possible to remember how to re-create the pasta at home, and the atmosphere is cozy. Thanks to Jason for a great class!

Honestly I cant even think about getting a sandwich anywhere else these days, I always find myself comparing them to Daves. They have a new special board everyday and the fresh pasta!! OKAY when you can go to a place and theres atleast 5 different specialty pastas that week, you have found you haven.

The cooking class was awesome! We made a variety of risotto and one yummy gnocchi. We were able to get right in there and learn by doing which makes these classes even better. Chef Jason was friendly, full of knowledge and very helpful.

I stopped by because I've enjoyed Dave's Fresh Pasta since the start. My mother worked up the street for years and we would stop by some days on our way home. A friend recently moved from the area who is now in the stressful week of her finals for the semester. I decided to help assist with a gift box of pasta, sauces, and chocolates hoping it will help aid with the hunger pains. It did! A great treat to her but a first for her roommate who was very thankful for the delicious pasta and fuel! Sandwiches are great! Pasta delicious! The selection of cheese and sauces are top notch. The array of wine will pair well with everything and the staff is always so friendly! Thanks DFP!

Dave's is THE BEST place for paninis, salads, wine, food...you name it! Having studied abroad in Rome, this place reminds me of the amazing mom and pop food stores I saw there, giving Dave's a real authentic quality. The food and wine are of superior standards, with fresh ingredients and friendly staff! If I do not get my Dave's fix once a week, I am not a happy camper! Cannot get enough of Dave's! Please open more stores! The world needs more places like Dave's!

Be advised... I purchased a cooking class from Dave's Fresh Pasta for my mother in law as a Christmas gift, scheduled for tomorrow evening. She is ill with bronchitis and hospital-bound, so I called to try to transfer the registration to a future date - one of the many classes with openings currently listed on their website. Their manager was rude and unsympathetic, pointing to the non-refundable policy on their site (this is a transfer, not a refund) and said I am just out the $120. I definitely will not be a patron of this store anymore and wanted to warn others.
