Stage House Tavern

Great place to have date night or a night out with friends. Even a family gathering. It's a large outdoors and indoor place. It has a live band at certain days(looking Forward to Thursdays). Service was nice a friendly. Felt we was forgotten at two separate times, but we was lost in the ambiance. Lol... we only went for drinks and finger food, but will go back for dinner so check back for an update.

The food was delicious and plenty of it. The candied bacon appetizer was so good! The French onion soup had crispy onion straws on top of it which added a little more to the already tasty soup. I ordered the stuffed flounder and my husband ordered the full rack of ribs and both meals were great (plenty of leftover ribs). The staff was so nice from the moment we walked in the door until we left. Would recommend and will definitely be back!

Delicious food and drinks. The pesto pizza and margherita are really good. Their jalapeño popper dip is delicious and spicy. Their outside seating area is really nice for a warm day! Inside seating is okay. The chairs and benches can be updated. They were fixed with masking tape. Service was really Good and overall great experience! Will def be returning

Great spot for many occasions. It's a lot of food choices, a lot of drink choices, food for a big meal or just little finger food snacks are both available... drinks are pretty legit as well. I like the fact that there are options for me to sit inside or semi-outside... and looking forward to the full outside sessions during the summer.

Nice building, with a large bar area, outdoor seating and terrific ambiance. The food however was mediocre. We had the parmesan crusted zucchini sticks. These were cut way too thick, and were inedible. I had a chicken wrap that was horrible. My wife's fall salad was ok, but was lacking. The service on our last visit was horrible. Our server (I use the term loosely) was Alexi, who clearly should be doing something else. It made for a terrible experience. Very disappointing. We have been to the Scotch Plains Stage House Tavern, which was far superior. We will not be returning here

They told me the chicken was bone in, but I instead recieved a succulent boneless chicken breast the size of my fist coated in crispy skin topping an equally delicious waffle. For $15 I was blown away. Normally chicken and waffles is that price for two smaller pieces but I have to say this one was a treat. I was stuffed! One of the best pieces of chicken I've had. Only thing I can say service is slow but it's worth the wait.
