Hong Kong Garden

I ordered beef chow mein. All I got was onions and cabbage & maybe two or three pieces of beef. It also had no taste whatsoever. You had to add a lot of soy sauce to even have taste. I called, and she just said that every restaurant is different, this is how they make it. Very disappointed. Also there was no utensils or napkins in the bag, and we were traveling so we needed those. We had to stop elsewhere to get forks and napkins. I won't be back.

I ordered a bubble tea, appetizer, soup and 2 entrees for take out. The only thing that was decent was the bubble tea but it came in a kid sized cup! Crab Rangoon was made with very thick wrappers that made it soggy on the inside. Soup was ok but smelled burnt. Sweet and sour chicken was just chicken fingers that was weirdly served on top of lettuce with orange slices. Sauce came on the side. Thai beef was flavored but there was barely any meat and mostly onion. The prices look appealing but the food was not. Inside of restaurant was kind of dark and had peeling wallpaper. Worker was friendly.

Had difficulty placing my order, they weren't sure what I was trying to order although I'm literally reading it off their menu. I go in to pick up, and they made an entirely different order. When I explained my order they were still at a loss. So I had to pull up the menu on my phone to their website to show them. So they remade it. As I sat there I'm looking around at how dark and dingy the place looks and I'm questioning my decision to stay. I get the food and the woman sneaks in a low blow about when I had ordered and apparently I said yes to something (honestly there was a language barrier) and it became my fault. Never the less, the food itself was hot and was a large portion but it simply just wasn't good. The pork was very dry and off putting, unlike any pork I've seen at a Chinese restaurant. The chicken and shrimp were neon orange and the flavor was bland. I have reviewed alot of restaurants and I'm always completely fair. I just can't see myself ever going here again and I hope they improve over time.
