River Grill At The Alisal

The food at the River Grill was excellent, the staff was friendly and attentive, and our company was great. We shared their tortilla soup which was spicy and creamy and so very good. My husband had a club sandwich and onion rings, which were amazing. I had fish tacos and fries which were very good as well. We thought about dessert but probably should have had it first, because we were too full to even look at the menu. A lovely place for lunch.

This is a "locals favorite" with gorgeous views over the Alisal River Public Golf Course and mountains behind it. Gourmet food at great prices. Excellent live music on Thurs. and Friday nights. Sunset views over the balcony...inside and outside dining with appropriate social distancing. Vegans can adjust salads, and fries are vegan friendly.

Nestled in the beautiful mountains on a golf course of a quaint town. I appreciate the fact that they are open during covid for outdoor seating. I called in for a reservation and a very friendly guy booked us for the time requested. After taking some pics in their beautiful rose garden, we were seated promptly on our reserved table. The service was prompt. Food was served in ginormous portions by friendly servers and everything tasted great. Menu prices were much lower than expected. I highly recommend this restaurant for brunch.
