This place is the real deal! GREAT food very reasonable prices and the waitress Diane is the best thing since sliced bread !! She huddled like no waitress I’ve ever seen and fantastic personality! What a winning combination! Make the trip you’ll be glad you did!!
Have been going there for many years & its like fine wine...................it only improves with age. The fresh salads are my favorite...............especially the BLT salad. If you are low on funds, the freshly made popcorn & a Draft PBR beer is the way to go. Keep up the good work you all!
Great place for good food and libations. Had a ribeye steak dinner on my recent visit. Jesse cooked it on the grill and it was done to a turn! Friendly staff, good drink selection, lots of laughs, and someone is always playing great tunes on the jukebox!
The steak is fantastic and reasonably priced. Huge portions. Friendly folks, never a long wait for service or hour food. Love this joint!

Jessie and Diane always treats us well, we had our rehearsal dinner here and it was phenomenal. Above and beyond service. The food! Great! the fish fry amazing! Steaks cooked right and never a wait. It’s hard to find restaurants like these anymore. I recommend this place to whom ever is in town.
We have been to the Franklin House twice and would likely go back. The food is very good and the fish fry is probably the best I've ever had. The fish was meaty and had just enough batter on it.The potato skins had large pieces of bacon on them with ample potato left on the skin. I do not recommend the nachos. They were bland and included no meat. I had to ask for salsa in order to make them edible and I still had to trade dinners with my husband. Another negative is that it is very loud. We'll be eating outside next time. All in all, it's a good restaurant with great service.
Fantastic apps and drinks were great as well. Atmosphere was fun and ALL the apps we got were amazing. Wings were Hot/Old bay mixed and the nachos were the trash plate nachos. Crazy bud great!!

We've been going to the Franklin House on a semi-regular basis during summers for several years. Always good quality food, a nice home-town, friendly atmosphere and excellent service.
This past weekend we were there for dinner and they were running a Pork Shank with Teriyaki Glaze special which I decided to try. It was amazing! Two very good sized pork shanks with the meat fork tender, and the glaze superb. I had mine with steamed broccoli which was the absolute perfection of broccoli-dom, perfect tenderness, flavor, and came with the perfect amount of butter; and the cole slaw, which was juicy and sweet/tart, just right.
One of the best meals I've enjoyed anywhere in quite a while. Every time we go to Franklin House the food just gets better. Way to go guys 👍😁 My only regret that night was they didn't have their phenomenal carrot cake dessert available. Trust me, if you like carrot cake even a little, get this if they have it. Best ever (other than my own lol !)
Prices were reasonable and the service was super friendly and attentive. Will definitely be returning as often as possible !
Had the bourbon burger was fantastic! Was here with a party of 10 and service was great! They have PBR on tap and was nice and cold! We will be back for sure!
Came from out of town, on a whim, and they were able to give us a reservation for Father's Day last minute. We arrived early and they sat us immediately. The food was delicious, prices very fair and the staff was top notch. If we are ever in the area again, this would definitely be a stop for us.

Our waitress was super. Unfortunately one meal was incorrect. We were there after the lunch crowd and before dinner started, so it was fairly quiet.

This place is awesome!. The food was absolutely delish. I could taste the different layers of flavors and herbs in the New England clam chowder. My husband had the fish fry which was great, not greasy, it was crunchy, tasty, seasoned perfectly. All that and awesome service everyone was nice attentive and warm. Customer service at it's best. We are 4 hours away but I would go back there in a heartbeat!!!.
